We sat out on the patio overlooking the Yellowstone River. The patio adds to the awesome atmosphere already inside where you can watch them cook your food, shoot pool, etc. Their are four great craft beers on tap right now. Our waiter (Scott) was great even giving us traveling tips for our future destinations. The only downside was that it's... More

We had a large group that required a little waiting for outside seating, on the Yellowstone River. the elk nachos, elk burger, and homemade hummus were all tasty. The best was the meatloaf. We had good service that was a little slow with some things but that could have been as a result of a very busy kitchen that night.

Rustic venue, good food. We stopped here after an afternoon drive into Yellowstone for drinks and appetizers. We had the fried shrimp, nachoes and hummus appetizers. All the food was well prepared. I tried two of the local beers and was well satisfied. The bad weather kept us from being able to sit outside and it was a little warm... More

Burgers, Nachos etc. Good waitress. Typical bar food, pricey for what it was. Very windy on outside porch.

This out of the way place is worth eating at - if it's nice outside. If you're staying up at Mammoth Lodge - your choices for eats are very slim. It's about a 15 or 20 minute ride from Mammoth to Gardner MT. The restaurant is right ON THE YELLOWSTONE RIVER! You can eat out on the patio and enjoy... More

We were staying at Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel but we were looking for a unique experience other than what was offered on the premises. After doing a self-guided tour of Fort Yellowstone we learned of how soldiers in the late 1800's would walk the 5 miles into the nearest town of Gardiner, Montana to visit a 'house of ill-repute &... During a recent stay in Yellowstone we had lunch here. The fries are to die for! They were so crispy and crunchy! I had the black bean burger and I can honestly say it was the best ever! People near us ordered a salad and they looked great as well. My husband had a elk burger that he enjoyed immensely.... More

Visited this restaurant by chance while staying in Gardiner, amazing view of the Yellowstone River from patio. Great service, even better food, the staff were very informative about what to see in the area the best time of day to see wild life. The restaurant offered a free keg on Sunday night, we didn't make that but WOW really how... More

Bar tender was personable and friendly. Love the antique eclectic look. The elk burger was awesome. They even make their own bread. Great experience. Brad

This was my second visit to this place, the last time in early may, we got there at 8:30pm and the kitchen had all but closed up. choice was negligible for food after that. Decided to give them a second chance, Id have to say the food is at best mediocre, the beer of course is a good as anywhere... More
