Our dinner at The Raven Grill was outstanding. It was such a pleasant surprise when we took our first look at the menu. From the exterior, we were expecting greasy burger and fries. The meal was delicious with generous portions. We were so full but could not resist ordering dessert so we got it to go. Our late night treat... More

Was not looking for a sophisticated restaurant when I looked at the outside but was amazed when I sat down. Took about 20 minutes to get a table (we left our name and wandered next door to shop.) Good selection of local beers (try the Moose Drool!!) and some great menu items. I had a spaghetti made with bison and... More

Arrived in Gardiner on a Saturday night and our hotel suggested the Raven. Ordered the pasta special and have never had a better vacation meal ever! It was so good we made a special trip back the following Friday and again were not disappointed.

Looking for a dinner choice outside of Yellowstone, we drove out the north entrance to Gardiner. We walked up and down the street with few choices, end of season, we decided to try this restaurant. With only about 15 tables, we were seated in the last booth available. We were greeted warmly and provided with a small but very upscale... More

As others have said, don't let the size or decor keep you from enjoying a delicious meal! Joyce was our wait person and did an admirable job, even when they got slammed towards the end of our meal. The Raven is one of the last places in town open at this time of year, thus has a captive audience. But... More

We were advised by the owner of the Yellowstone River motel that The Raven would be a good place to eat. And she was right. The menu had not too many choices, but the quality was excellent. The service had the same quality as the food. My friends and I were so satisfied, that we went back to The Raven... More

This little gem was packed with people when we pulled up. We waited for a table in the outdoor side area. It was clear the place was short-handed as we watched a very capable young lady work 12 tables alone. Turns out she was the manager and her name is ALEX! She was amazing. She greeted everyone, cleared tables, didn't... More

After visiting Yellowstone national park, we were looking for a nice place for dinner. Since Gardiner is quite small, there isn't much choice. The Raven looks a bit akward and messy, but the food was excellent. We came back the next day for a second tasting. Probably the best food (everybody can make a hamburger, this is different) we had... More

Happy to find this little culinary delight in Gardiner on a recent trip to Yellowstone NP. Hard not to stop here as every resident we asked said this "was the best place in town." After a week there I would have to agree. Fresh ingredients and an imaginative menu. Our party of 4 had two vegetarians, and the pickings were... More
