Raven has a real chef, preparing food you wouldn't expect to find in a small town that is closed half the year. The four of us ordered four different entrees and all of them were excellent. Funky, fun, and friendly!

We've eaten at many restaurants all over the world and this was one of our best experiences anywhere. The salmon with hollandaise sauce over andouille hash was wonderful. Similar for the crab wonton which had nice fresh crab meat and was very lightly crisp (not the typical greasy hard deep fried run-of-the mill rendition). The strawberry short cake dessert was... Dined al fresco at the Raven Grill. Austin, our waiter was pleasant and attentive. My husband had the pork tenderloin and I had the shrimp. I don't know what they do to the potatoes but they are amazing. The prices are a little higher than other restaurants in Gardiner but you are inches from Yellowstone

We enjoyed our meal here, steaks were excellent but my husband's salmon was a bit overdone. Our server was friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend sitting on the patio, weather permitting as inside seemed very smoky from the grilling.

My wife and I stayed in Gardiner the last week of May and had dinner at the Raven Grill twice. The Bison bolognese was wonderful . We both would highly recommend this restaurant.

Great food, lots of local charm and a hard working staff. The salmon, pork tenderloin, and filet are phenomenal! The owner is the chef so you can expect a high quality meal. so good we ate here twice during our visit. Its true what they say about wait times. A modern ordering system would solve 90% of everyone's problem b/c... More

My motel manager recommended this restaurant when I asked where to get a good steak. We did not encounter the "curly haired" manager and I am glad because we would have left as well and would have missed one of the best meals of our trip. We ordered a mushroom appetizer. I don't recall much about it, but we enjoyed... More

Listened to the local storekeepers and went there for an early dinner. My wife had a pasta dish she loved but it was very spicy. She could not finish it no matter how much coke she had. (liquid) I had the rib-eye and it was wonderful. Worth the money.

This restaurant came highly recommended so we were keen to try the steaks. The same curly haired "manager" (see previous review) was so rude even before we sat down that we left. When I suggested her manner was unpleasant she said we were weird. I hope the owner knows this is how international tourists are treated.

We stopped for dinner. There were 12 of us, but they knew we were coming. Between the time we sat down and the time our food arrived was exactly one hour. Even with our large group, that's still too long to wait. Some of us said their meal was one of the best they ever had; some said it was... More
