Incredible food with new servers trying hard

We were startled that the restaurant in a small Montana town could have such excellent food. The truffle Mac and Cheese was outstanding I had a penne with chicken and a delightful red sauce My wife had fettuccine Alfredo with a light wonderful sauce. This was 2 days after the seasonal opening and... read more

Title says it all. Service was very slow. There seems to be inadequate staff for the amount of business they have (servers and probably kitchen staff). If you don't mind spending 2 plus hours on dinner, the food is fair to good and the prices are reasonable.

Located 7 miles from Gardner, Mt and Yellowstone National Park's North entrance this nautical themed restaurant has an oriental type menu. It is clean and attractive and the staff is efficient and friendly. Open May 21 through September 30 I highly recommend stopping there.

My husband and I traveled from AZ to get married in Mammoth Hotsprings and had our reception at the Lighthouse. The staff was amazing to work with. Victor was nice to work with and all our our family and friends loved the food. We will always make this a yearly stop for us. Thank you all for making our night... More

Strange lighthouse decor in Montana, but the food was quite good, and the waiter was new and nice. Shrimp dish was very nice, and hubby had some bison he enjoyed. Lovely drive from Gardiner, beautiful country.

Checked Trip Advisor before travels and had Lighthouse Restaurant on our list when we arrived in Gardiner, MT. Drove down the road to Corwin Springs and could not miss it on the left. We were glad to see that ingredients are locally sourced and organic, and then combined into a very tasty Asian delight. Pleasant meal for two by the... More

We were given high praises for this restaurant and they proved to be accurate. However, don't try to use your GPS to find it. It's about 9 miles out of Gardiner but my GPS kept trying to send me to a spot in town on the main road. We finally got better directions and arrived around 7:00 pm after a... More

A previous reviewer sums up my thoughts--"Have no idea how this place is getting positive ratings. I am a frequent traveller and this was one of the worst meals my husband and I have ever experienced. From the dust-covered fake flowers on the table to soup straight out of a Campbell's can. Perhaps it has changed hands recently? " My... More

At first impression, The Lighthouse may seems a bit out of place: it's all ship and sailing motifs and a thousand miles from any ocean. Then you see the very eclectic menu and wonder what kind of place is this? No two items the same...each dish seems to be from a different country or locale. Turns out, there is a... More

We live locally and put off checking out the Lighthouse restaurant till the night before they closed for the season. That was a big mistake. The food was wonderful, they honored an old coupon we had for a free appetizer. The table settings were very nice and the food was served on hot dishes, important to us all. The dining room... More
