Went with our group for our one night in Gardiner. We were staying at the Best Western and it was its convenient location that lured us in, despite the reviews. There is no free water or free tea or free rice (things you might expect in Southern California or South Florida for that matter!). You order at a counter so... More

Some of the worst Asian food I have ever had. Mostly prepackaged and not even warm. Not worth the money.

We were hungry and always like Chinese food. The lady at the counter was very nice so it pains me to give them a bad review. We ordered Kung Paoo chicken and Generals Tsos chicken. We actually had to ask which was which as we couldnt tell. The Generals Tsos was almost black and not crunchy at all. The only... More

Easily the best egg rolls we have ever had. Very large, great filling, fried to perfection. Two of these will make a meal. Our main courses were pretty bland. Fresh ingredients, just no flavor. Seating area was dirty. We took the food back to our hotel room.

We lived in Taiwan for 5 years and miss good Chinese food. This wasn't as good as Taiwan but family style good food. Huge portions and when we asked for more Chinese taste than American taste they did it. They were friendly and extremely accommodating. Prices were good also and plenty of food. When we went in to the restaurant... More

I walked in and consulted the takeout menu. I ordered the tofu stir fry. The lady at the front counter said "so sorry, no tofu". I asked if they had chop suey with bean sprouts. "So sorry, no bean sprouts. I asked what they had that was vegetarian: "nine vegetables!" What are they? "cabbage, carrot, canned bamboo shoots, canned water... More

This little restaurant was within walking distance from our hotel and we had been craving Asian food so it was the perfect place to stop for dinner. This is more of a take-out business, but they do have a few booths. We were greeted by the owner who gave us a menu and told us she would take our order... More

Just average but at least it was edible. Portions were also large so plenty leftover for lunch the next day. Fast food type of vibe with little plastic booths/tables. Tea was strange with loose tea leaves so be warned.

This is the second time I have dined here... first being three years ago...wow nothing has changed. I had the beef lomain and it was tasty and a nice portion... I did not dine in as it was not a very pleasant dining room. Tight tables and no attention to decor has been given. They are not happy when you... More

This restaurant has a note on the door "take out only for today". I believe it is there everyday. I would break into the kitchen if I ate there. This is one of very few Chinese restaurants that cannot do fried rice right. Well, you got to go when craving comes, only game in town.
