good enough to eat here twice

Liked the local ambience. The food was good with a surprising menu selection for the locale. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Limited parking but it's within walking distance from many of the motels.

I ate a late dinner in this restaurant which is right nearby the Iron Horse Grill. Plates are simpler than the ones severe at the Iron horse but there is a richer selection. I took the chicken and it was great. Also the beans as a side were really amazing. Best beans ever. I could not try the dessert as... More

Arrived in Gardiner knowing nothing about it. Went for a walk and came across Cowboy Lodge and Grill. Decided to give it a go for lunch. Soup of the day was yummy. Then shared a plate of ribs. Also delightful. All washed down with a Salmon Fly local ale. Staff wonderfully helpful and friendly. We go again and would recommend.

Rustic log ambience with outstanding service. The Cowboys Lodge and Grille serves up burgers and barbecue done just right. Our party of 9 found something for everyone and were seated and served quickly. These may be the best fries in Montana. I would certainly drive the 10-15 min from Mammoth Hot Springs to eat here over your standard park vendor... More

We were here for lunch only. The Ranch hand stew was good, fish sandwich was good and they do excellent home made kettle chips. Good service.

A member of our party had an allergy to soy, we asked for help to the guy that served us, but he had this bad attitude, didn't want to describe all the ingredients... After my friend insisted, at some point the guy assured us that my friend was secure. I even said: man, this is serious, he can die, but... More

We visited this restaurant not once but twice. Both times we advised the server that we had members of our group with soy allergies and lactose intolerance and both times we got burned - the second time, quite badly. We should have known that we were in for trouble when we explained the soy allergy and the waiter replied "we... More

Loved the name and a great place to kick back and enjoy a good meal after a day of sightseeing in the park. Located right of the main strip in downtown. Very casual, clean and the staff is very friendly. Enjoyed talking with the owner, soups are home-made and you have to try the fresh home-made cobblers. Definitely a stopping... More
