Nice

Didn't stay there, but the restaurant is about the best in the area. Big Sky fine dining is a bit behind in sophistication, but this place has at least one waiter who knows what he's doing, and the food is very good. Nice lighting, some nice art, and a decent wine list round things out. Down in the... read more

The meal was absolutely superb. We were with a large group and everyone was extremely satisfied. The service was outstanding. The ambiance was wonderful. The menu is quite eclectic with many choices representing locally obtained food (bison, trout, etc). The wine list was plentiful. This would be a perfect place for a special occasion or maybe just somewhere different where... More

Celebrated an engagement at the Rainbow Ranch Lodge Restaurant. The cozy dining room has beautiful windows that overlook the national forest. The wine list (probably the most extensive in Big Sky) is hard to beat, but the mark-ups seemed a bit high. Food was prepared to perfection (we had pheasant and a venison au poivre) with a melon bruschetta to... More

We were a group of 22 so we pretty much ordered everything that the menu had to offer. And there were some really unusual offerings. The lamb shank was one of the best I"ve ever had. Spicy dry rub seasoning and really really tender. Roasted asparagus soup, yummy. Truly a foodie's delight to dine here. Breakfast the next morning was... More

We loved the venue, the service and the food. Great choices included: Elk, Boar, Trout, scallops! It was so nice having our own private area in the wine cellar.

Very nice place but very expensive. The staff was great the food was very good. The only bad thing is how long it takes to be served. Had both dinner and breakfast and the wait was not acceptable, 45 minutes for breakfast with no one in the place. Will come back next year.

I recently came here on business with Eagle Mount Bozeman and brought a small group of women wounded warriors here to stay and eat. The breakfast was beautifully catered and tasty. Our last night we chose to eat at the Lodge as well, and it was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. I would highly... More

About 25 of us stayed at Rainbow Ranch last month for a 3 day conference. The attendees were from all over the country, including major metropolitan areas. For them especially, staying at RR was an extraordinary relaxing experience. First of all the setting is beautiful and the conference room is right next to the river - not a typical setting... More

My now-husband and I are still reeling from an incredible wedding weekend at Rainbow Ranch. We can't say enough amazing things about the food, the scenery, the staff — our wedding was truly the stuff dreams are made of. We listed a few must-haves when we began talking to vendors — amazing food, a gorgeous natural setting, the freedom to... More

We ate here on our last night in Big Sky. The view was beautiful. Wait staff and hostess attentive. Food Excellent! The portions were just right. Everything was perfection, from the amount of attention we received - not overbearing or too talkative, they were there just when we needed them for as long as we needed them. No salt necessary...
