My family and a couple of our friends had their Sunday brunch special and they are simply to die for. Excellent food choices and great friendly service.

We went on the chef's second day. His selections and his combinations were excellent. There was something for all palates. The beer offerings, although not extensive, covered a range of tastes and styles. Likewise the wine offerings were broad. Spirits are not available if that is a requirement. The service was eager, friendly and attentive. The staff and ownership clearly... More

Although a bit high in price the food was worth it. Easy to read menu with items for most budgets. The beer selection includes several craft beers from Montana. Excellent atmosphere. Take the time to view all of the framed photos of the past.

Food is a little hit or miss and usually fairly expensive. But if the cooks are on their 'A' game, the food is great.

I am very overdue for this review, but I love everything about this restaurant. From the historical ambiance (oldest functioning hotel in Montana, along with first 3-story building in Montana), to the impeccable food, there isn't much I can say bad about the place. Our first visit was a special dinner after driving up from Billings to stay on property... More

O.k., so I try to be a vegan. And I was tempted, but aI tried the sauce, it was amaze! The chef insisted, even though they were in the middle of a big party, to prepare a vegan dish for me. The Bethel Heights Pinot Noir from Oregon, was outstanding! The dining room servers were sweet and accommodating. Always a... More

We were a little disappointed in the food based on the reviews. Upon arriving in town we had driven around town prospecting for a dinner location.....this is it! With this historic little town in the heart of farming country I expected more local, home grown produce and meat. None of the menu items are bragged as being local grown -... More

As guests of the Union Hotel we of course tried the restaurant which was highly recommended. Appetizer was fantastic as well as the Halibut feature that both my husband and I had. Servers were efficient and friendly and we appreciated the recommendation of wine!

Handsomely restored hotel from 1880s on the placid river in early evening sun make for a romantic and nostalgic setting. But a top chef created a very modern menu distinguished by local specialties. Prairie flatbread with apples and chevre was good starter. Wait staff eager and accommodating. A very special treat.

Food a bit expensive, but quite fancy and tasty. Chef like kale a little too much for my taste. But he makes up for it whenever he uses huckleberries!
