We got to Ennis once a year for the annual Hunter's Rendezvous Sale at Shedhorn Sports and we always stop at the Gravel Bar for lunch. It never disappoints. Great burgers, very yummy, well-seasoned fries, and sandwiches. Very friendly service. We were there yesterday and all 4 of us completely cleaned our plates! Looking forward to our next visit!

Driving thru Ennis and wanting a good lunch, we were looking for Banditos, since it got a top rating. That was closed but the bar next door, with patio seating was open and we stopped there. Absolutely first rate food, with delicious white bean and vegetable soup, yummy chicken pesto sandwich. The inside bar was nothing to yearn for and... More

WOW It is the meat that makes this one of the best burgers I have had. I know you think it is just a burger but the meat they use is special. Trust me.

My wife and I went to the Gravel Bar since it received such good reviews here on TripAdvisor. It was very disappointing. The business could use some cleaning as the floor and walls were dirty. We were not greeted upon entry but guessed that we could locate a table in the back of the business. The waiter who took care... More

We stopped in Ennis, Montana to fuel up and do some last minute grocery shopping en route to West Yellowstone. We also decided to grab something to eat in this charming Montana community. While fueling up I asked a cowgirl, who appeared to be a local, where she would suggest we have lunch. She directed us to the Gravel Bar,... More

Amy and Scott run a fine establishment. The burger was great and the Grass Fed Filet on our last night was perfectly prepared. Go see these guys if you are in Southern Montana!

Best chicken pesto sandwich we've ever had....perfectly grilled & juicy. Brownies with vanilla ice cream finished off a perfectly lazy lunch! Service was great as well. Highly recommend. ...we sat outside.

Had Brisket & Fries. Brisket was ok.. lots of BBC sauce killed it. Fries were overcooked and inedible. Waiter did absolutely nothing to correct the problem. #3 in Ennis? I think Not.

The best fish and chips ever. The staff was very nice. Next time we plan to be there with our fishing guides so we can swap stories.

We fished all day and heard it was a great place for a Beer and Snack. We sat outside and the server(male) pretty much ignored us completely..to the point everyone outside were making a joke about it. I had to go to the table next to us to read the menu... That table even made a comment to him but... More
