Very good service our waiter very nice, friendly, and handsome!! Good food don't let the funkyness of the restuaunt bother you. One of the waiters recognized us from the glacier lodge we had a good chuckle. We must be memorable people my mom and I. I had the blts and they were fabulous.

This restaurant was recommended and I wish that I had trusted my first instinct and walked away. The food was bland and uninteresting. I asked if I could have fries instead of a baked potato with my meal and they said that I could but charged them as an additional item. Feel cheated. Wouldn't recommend eating here.

Over the last 7 years we have ate breakfast here. The Huckleberry stuffed French toast brought us back time and time again. The bacon omelet is also very good! In 2012 and 2013 the stuffed French toast was not as good as years before. This year it was a home run once again and we ate breakfast there both days... More

Great engineer goat sculpture outdoors. Fantastic beef ribs for dinner! Nice stop after a day of hiking in the park, don't dress up! Down home atmosphere and friendly service. Too full to try dessert!

We stopped for breakfast and each ordered something different. It was good and the waitress was super nice. Our only complaint is the bathroom. It's located near the cooking area and it was dirty. I always wonder if a bathroom is not kept clean, how are their standards when it comes to cooking? I just like clean floors and bathrooms... More

We enjoyed the ribs and beef dinners. Salads are a little skimpy, and the service lacking (they did not clear off the salad dishes before serving dinner, and then did not clear off the dinner dishes before serving dessert). Overall, our family enjoyed the meals and went twice while we were in East Glacier.

Every time we come to East Glacier we stop at the Whistlestop for lunch and it is consistently good for hamburgers and portobello burgers. We tried the Huckleberry pie that they claim to be the best, but we have had better…theirs tastes like it is made with jello and berries. The other dishes served looked good, and try the Dancing... On our way from West Glacier to Two Medicine for a day hike we stopped in East Glacier for lunch. After finding the restaurant at the Glacier Park Lodge overcrowded and understaffed we wandered upon the Whistlestop Restaurant just up the road. We were treated to Chef Webb's delicious Grilled Pear & Ribeye salad served with warm bread from the... More

The meal was terrific, the service was provided by a foreign exchange student working her way through school. Everything was perfect and the craft beers have to be tried.
