Huckleberry French Toast

When in Rome, you must try the huckleberries!!! They are a pretty high priced berry around GNP! The huckleberry French toast was stuffed with huckleberries and also on top. Syrup is optional. French toast is thick and filing. Restaurant is kind of tight, but once seated we were fine. A great... read more

After reading reviews I expected something considerably above average. We dined twice, breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was good, a bit rich/sweet for my taste - abundant use of cream cheese type of ingredients - but good. Dinner was very different. The ribs were inferior to what is typically served in a real BBQ. The bison steak was equally disappointing. Service... More

We are here 3 times while in East Glacier Park. It is convenient and their breakfasts are really excellent. We always got really good service from the friendly staff. One night we had steak dinners and the steak was cooked just right. We had no complaints and enjoyed eating at Whistlestop.

No words can describe just how succulent these ribs are or how fresh and tart and sweet and AMAZING the pie is. Go see for yourself, you won't regret it.

Delicious BBQ ribs (both pork and beef) with amazing sides—believe me, we were full when we walked out of this spot! We had a very knowledgeable and sweet server who made sure our iced tea glasses were always full. For dessert we had huckleberry pie and French apple pie, both of which were scrumptious. Great views from their deck.

We stopped here on our way to hike the Two Medicine area. We enjoyed our breakfast so much that our kids got up early the next morning so that we had time for breakfast before we had to be at the airport. The huckleberry French Toast and the caramel apple French Toast were our favorites. The omelettes were also exceptional.

I came in once at night and once in the morning. Although I only had a beer when I came in at night, the food smelled incredible. I was bummed out that they were closing the day after I arrived(I came very late in the season) because I wanted to come back and try the dinner. The breakfast was great.... More

We got there right after it opened, so it wasn't real busy when we arrived for breakfast. The food was very good; the omlets are very filling. Good, strong coffee. Very casual atmosphere.

Stopped here for breakfast and found it to be one of the more popular spots in east glacier. Caught them at the tail end of the season so things might not have been as good as they could have. Didn't have some food items on the menu. Breakfast was pretty much average, no frills. Service was average at best. Would... More
