East glacier is not known for it's cuisine, but there is one little gem just outside of town. Bison creek has excellent food, and the people running the restaurant are really great. They make you feel like part of the family. When you enter the property, veer to the left and go to the end of the road. You'll be... More

Dining in the East Glacier area is limited so this is one place you may want to check out for dinner. When you first pull into the property and drive up the lane leading to the café, you think you may have made a wrong turn and are driving into someone's personal property. The café is actually attached to the... More

The cafe is run by the third generation of the ranch family. A daughter runs the dining room and is very friendly and attentive. She said that her brother was the cook. I ordered the walleye fish and loved it. The meals included an excellent cornbread muffin, soup, and wonderful homemade huckleberry ice cream. My husband ordered the strip steak... More

Read several reviews which made us want to go to the Bison Ranch - called to see if we needed reservations, got phone message and left my number. Didn't hear back, so we went on out - sign at road said open 5-9, drove all the way in and there was a sign "Closed today". Disappointed - and had our... More

One price and you get salad, soup, entree, potato, vegetable of the day, and huckleberry ice cream. Steak was really good. Service was good.

Food was pretty good but the service was very slow. Lentil soup was delicious and the salad was good. Veggies were forgotten but the mashed potatoes that came with the pork chops were tasty. Homemade ice creams were wonderful!

This was homemade, real food that changed each day. Even the spices used were blended and gathered by the folks at the Ranch. It was spectacularly good.

Good food, full dinners include soup, salad and delicious homemade ice cream. We ate here 2 times during our stay. We actually passed by several places from West Glacier to go here a 2nd time. Molly is very friendly. We probably would not have ever gone here if Bob and Diane from Travelers Rest hadn't suggested it.

We recently visited Glacier National Park. It was recommended we have dinner at Bison Creek. While we weren't sure when we first drove up to the place we were pleasantly surprised! Keith (the owner) is charming. He sat down with us and shared the family history. His daughter Molly waited on us and was delightful. The food was awesome. We... More

On the recommendation of another hiker in Two Medicine, we decided to have dinner at Bison Creek before heading west. It was a delicious meal, and came with soup, salad, potatoes, vegetable, and homemade ice cream. I had the fried chicken -- tasted great, with a pinch of salt taste to the batter which was great. My son ordered the... More
