Good food. Good value.

Good food. Good value. Service was more businesslike than friendly. Its quite small so in high season you may have to wait for a table.

We stumbled on this little restaurant in the middle of a Yellowstone/Mammoth trip at about 7:00 in the morning. The prices were fair, but the breakfast was A+. Just about anything you wanted, from dinnerplate-size, melt-in-your-mouth pancakes to perfect omletes; it was just a cozy local place where you can't go wrong if you stop to eat.

Ordered a bacon cheeseburger. Asked for salad as a side. Waitress said that she did not have greens for salads. I asked for my burger to be well done. Waitress explained that they do all of their burgers well done. When it arrived it was not well done at all! Pink throughout. Service was poor, food was worse.

There are but 3-5 options to eat in Cooke City/Silver Gate and The Bistro is one of them. They are a foreign owned establishment. My waiter was solid. This place is very casual and low key...they even have a dog, though he is very friendly and does not jump on your table or beg for your steak. Speaking of the... More

We came into Cooke City from Yellowstone in early evening, 5:30. We'd heard this place was good and it was only one of two places open. Big mistake. It started out by the waitress insisting we sit next to the door when it was pouring rain outside and there was only ONE table filled. She was upset that we wanted... More

This restaurant has an excellent menu beyond what you would expect in Cooke. They do also have a lite menu if you're only looking for a burger fries and a salad. The ambiance is typical Cooke City ie rustic. The service is good.

I had the three egg omelet with ham and cheese and home fries. The coffee was good and the water was cloudy. I don't know why but all the tap water is like that here.

Stopped in Cooke city for lunch en route to Yellowstone, quaint little town with a few shops and cafes. Had a club sandwich and fries which was enough for 2 to share, very good food, and helpful pleasant staff. Around 20 dollars for lunch and cold drinks.

We kept driving out of the Lamar Valley in Yellowstone and found ourselves in Cooke City, MT. We were hungry and pulled into the only restaurant with more than a few cars in front of it. It was the Bistro. It's cutely decorated and we were warmly greeted immediately. We only waited a minute for a table to open. We... More
