We had a delicious meal and you couldn't beat the convenience of walking out of our hotel and into this restaurant just across the parking lot. The food was really delicious and the server was a doll. We ate simple but the steak and Veal Parmesan were both delicious and well priced. The food was far better than what we... More

We had a great meal here and great service. Right next to where were were staying at the Stage Stop Inn. Will definitely eat here again when in Choteau MT.

Driving through Choteau we randomly picked a place to eat and now I am writing my first ever review. The service and the food were the best my husband and I have had in a long time. the homemade soup, homemade pie, fabulous grilled cheese and there are no words to describe the best homemade cheeseburger with fried egg and... Wonderful food, great service, and right next to our hotel. Perfect! The pie is outstanding! Could not ask for more.

I had never been in this place before, we just happened to be passing through and stopped. We ended up having an awesome dinner. I had the prime rib and it was perfect. Montana is called beef country, but you would not believe how hard it is to find good prime rib. This place had it down, cooked and seasoned... More

We stopped here to eat as a family for dinner. I had some new York strip steak which was tasty and tender. The elk medallion was tender and delicious as well. The homemade. Pie was tasty as well. Family friendly and friendly staff. Definitely a good stop for food. Prices were very reasonable.

I agree with most of the reviewers. We had dinner there twice, and the elk medallions were good, but the steaks (NY strip and rib-eye) even better, exactly cooked to order. We also liked the Oysters, which we - as tourists - had to try :-) Service was mixed, but overall good. The atmosphere is not fancy, right, but country-style... More

Just ate at the Elk Country Inn, and I can recommend it to anyone! We had baby back ribs and rib eye and all was superb. Lindy was our server and she did a great job. The Berry Pie (superb home made pie crust) was to die for. (not to mention all of the craft beers). Owners Rosie and Jessie... More

Nothing fancy in the decor but friendly service, good food and great choice of beer. My Elk medalipons were nice and came not only with soup but a plate of olives, celery, carrots and beetroot, a nice touch.

This was a fine place to stop for a late lunch. We had a good burger and a French dip sandwich with homemade chips, and our sweet waitress persuaded us to split a piece of homemade Black Forest pie! My husband enjoyed the regional Moose Drool beer (better than it sounds, apparently).
