Good food, good value, always crowded for breakfast. Nothing amazing, but it's a good place for a quick american breakfast.

Milkshakes are great! The chicken noodle soup is great and the wait staff is friendly. Usually served in a timely manner and food is well worth the price!

Good service and good value. The 10 oz sirloin medium rare was excellent with absolutely no fat. My wife's skinless chicken breast was huge, tender and juicy. Onion rings were great, and the green salads were huge and fresh. Total price for the two of us was less than $30.00. Lived up to previous positive reviews, and was chosen based... More

It has been a long time since I have been in this restaurant. The wife and I stopped in and we both ordered a 1/2 pound Buffalo Burger with fries. This is a big burger and although the cook did not get the burger well done as asked it was delicious. The order of fries was decent and they were... More

In town only briefly and picked this restaurant because it's close to the hotel. Not all that special from an appearance standpoint, but both the food and service were excellent. Had the grilled cheese with tomato and bacon...outstanding!

Breakfast is always awesome! Service could do a lot better. I eat here very often, and there are about 3 servers who actually return to your table and see if you need anything. Overran by careless teenagers. Could be updated, cleanliness is alright. Lunch and dinners can get overpriced and still taste bland. Stick with the breakfast!

First off it seems that every non-chain restaurant in this town has a "Casino". Because of a freak snowstorm I was in this town longer than planned. Because on my last dinner in town, like to be able to walk to to dinner, I chose this place because it was 2 blocks from the hotel. Upon my arrival at 4:45PM... More

We walked in and every inch of the floor from entry to each section was covered in French fries, cutlery, crumbs and chunks. Totally gross. We turned to walk out and a local patron stopped me to say " give it a try. The food is outstanding and I would know. They just had a large group." Normally I would... More

Recommended by the hotel as a good place for dinner. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered and there was something for everyone. My son especially enjoyed his Beef Pasty. Friendly service.

Road trip. Stopped in Butte for the night of Aug. 16-17, 2014. We picked Hanging Five Restaurant because it was open late, to 11:30 p.m. 2110 Harvard Avenue. Phone: 406-494-4309. Glad we did! My 16 oz. prime rib in au jus was wonderful. My friend raved about her Chicken Fried Chicken (often a difficult menu item to find). Excellent meal.... More
