Great Local Brews

We visited this brewery with another couple, we enjoyed several different brews, the staff is great, enjoyed the atmosphere and had a couple of baskets of free popcorn. Well worth the stop!

It feels warm and welcoming, a low-key happy place. Great to order a flight of samples and have one of the local restaurants (I like Trimbos) deliver some food. Plus, free popcorn!

We liked the feel of the Quarry. It definitely feels like a bar, which makes you want to order food. But, can't. The staff was friendly and attentive. **Note to ownership - work on promoting your branding. The Q logo is cool. But no one knows what it is without an explanation. Add "Quarry Brewing" on shirts, etc. the other... More

Our first visit to Butte would not be complete without stopping by a local brewery. I sampled a tasting flight and I LOVED the Porter. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Met the owner who was also very friendly and has a passion for brewing beer!

Best craft beer in town, this brewery is located in an historic hotel in uptown Butte. Creative brewers who have been at it a while know their craft- we loved the new pale rye. Lacks a patio but the owner placed tables out back of the brewery and we were able to take in the fresh, cool Montana air and... More

the Copper ale is ok but its a lot like an Irish red ale, rich, and there is quite a bit of yeast taste. The miners gold is too light. I like the Lewis and Clark brewery Golden better but that beer is a little short on body too. A nice golden ale that had some of each quality would be... More

This isn't our favorite beer, but we loved the personality! Located on a hill in Butte, if you enter the front, you drop down a flight of stairs to the pub--which is at street level out the back door. Fun group, games available and very friendly. This is one of the few brewpubs I've visited that takes credit cards. The... More

The beer is what you come here for. I read the trip advisor reviews and decided to have a beer. Selections are limited but overall experience was good.
