...just like the ones we had in Cornwall, England! This place is a MUST stop to truly experience Butte's historic mining culture. Well worth your time and attention.

This was the best pasty I have ever had. The flaky delicious crust was great and so nice with the brown gravy. The meat and potato filling was primarily seasoned with black pepper, and it was nice. Actually I split the pasty with my husband and shared a chef salad with him as well. Pasty can be heavy for lunch,... More

Had a Pasties...A meat pie the Cornish miners use to take down in the mines for lunch. They were wonderful ....You could have yours plain or covered with gravy. I was really up set when we didn't have time to go back for more.

Poke your head in here, even if you aren't eating! Great architecture and atmosphere of the classic booth cafe.

This place really takes u back in time to a good old diner. There aren't many more around anymore so going here was a treat. This place has great food and good milkshakes. I wish I could have worked there back in the olden days. However there is no air conditioning, so it's kinda hot in there, but it is... More

Had interesting exhibit of historical material in the front of the Cafe(anteroom sort of ) Good Pastis which seemed like beef pot pies which can be picked up and eaten or eaten with a knife and fork. Had good chicken and pork steaks for sandwiches too. Owner was very considerate and... More

Great historic building. Lots of locals. Great Breakfast -- vegge bene (eggs benedict with spinach, tomato and mushrooms). Friend had the Evil Knievel, also good. Great home fries. Great Service. Highly recommend for Uptown Butte experience.

My mom who was born in 1920 used to work here as a young girl! No kidding! She and I went there during her last years and the only thing that was different was that the upstairs is no longer open. The food is great, esp. their lunch specials. I really don't know how some of these places stay open... More

The food was excellent and the service was flawless and friendly. Five out of our group of six ordered pasties for lunch. (The odd man out had a sandwich.) All six of us cleaned our plates. Our consensus is that the other reviews are correct, and that the pasties at Gamers are wonderful and an excellent introduction to the special... More
