Outstanding staff and meals

While in Butte we had a very large group (30+) and they arranged for us to have a back room for breakfast. We had reserved the room for 2 days, but we were so taken by the place that we returned for 2 more days. I can't say enough nice things about the staff. They were friendly and very... read more

First off, this shares space with a sad little casino so be aware. Next up, only beer was Coors and Coors Light (or was it Bud and Bud Light?), so don't expect microbrewery or even decent beer here. Then, we were told they were out of pasties (meat and potatoes in a dough pie) and that their "world famous" pot... More

I was in Butte with about 30 other family members for a mini-reunion and we arranged with Gamer's to have a side room for the family so we could all have breakfast together. They were very accommodating, and we enjoyed our meals there. Upon entering the restaurant one has the feeling of being in an old-fashioned soda parlor, with booths... More

I went to lunch here with a co-worker who had never had a pasty before. We were told that this was the place to have one. We were not disappointed. The service was great and accommodating. The decor was old time, they had several front pages of news papers that covered various major news articles from the past. It was... More

I had lunch in Gamers all the time when in high school when I lived in Butte, their pasties were delicious, I loved them. The decor is older BUT neat unless they remodeled it!!! The staff is friendly and the food was good. Think they serve supper to OR maybe they changed that, just depends on the customers they have

We stopped in for breakfast on our way out of town. Staff was friendly and quick with serving coffee. Food was served hot and was very good!

I have to say this place has to be the friendliest place I have been in a long time. It has a wonderful small town feeling, with a cozy atmosphere. The wait staff is quick and courteous and always with a smile. I felt right at home. The food is excellent, like mama made it herself, with out the guilt... More

We’d rolled into Butte on a Tuesday afternoon in April and were hungry for something unique to the area, so asked around at some of the shops. We were directed to Gamer’s Café, but told to hurry, as it seems every place in Butte closes for lunch at 2. Because it was 1:45, when we walked into Gamers, we were... More

Located in a wonderful, historic building, the family owned and run Gamer's is an absolute favorite. They have preserved the originally counter and counter seating which adds even more charm to the original booths and light fixtures. The breakfast food is top notch and exactly what you want breakfast to be in Butte, Montana. There are tables filled with locals... More

Paul Cote, owner , is a very personable person who greets each customer like family. Food was acceptable, with plenty to eat. and a bottomless coffee cup. This is a nice family restaurant located in an historic building. Very pleasant experience.
