Loved the ambiance. The staff was friendly. However, service was not great. I only write this as a motivation to make changes. Staff didn't seem to know how to multi task, which is a must in the restaurant business. Maybe we just picked an off day. They did say they had been busy.............but. Will give them another try, but was... More

When I'm traveling I always try to use a local business for food. This little eclectic restaurant in downtown Butte is the perfect example of what I look for. We went there for breakfast 2 days in a row during the Montana Free Folk Festival, both times about 9 am on a saturday & sunday, & there was 3 of... More

Good basic fare with plenty of choices sandwiches, breakfast items, some entrees and a local favorite pasty which the miners would take with them from home. Wonderful friendly service and the rear of the restuarant had an old fashion look to it.

First off, this shares space with a sad little casino so be aware. Next up, only beer was Coors and Coors Light (or was it Bud and Bud Light?), so don't expect microbrewery or even decent beer here. Then, we were told they were out of pasties (meat and potatoes in a dough pie) and that their "world famous" pot... More

While in Butte we had a very large group (30+) and they arranged for us to have a back room for breakfast. We had reserved the room for 2 days, but we were so taken by the place that we returned for 2 more days. I can't say enough nice things about the staff. They were friendly and very efficient.... I was in Butte with about 30 other family members for a mini-reunion and we arranged with Gamer's to have a side room for the family so we could all have breakfast together. They were very accommodating, and we enjoyed our meals there. Upon entering the restaurant one has the feeling of being in an old-fashioned soda parlor, with booths... More

I went to lunch here with a co-worker who had never had a pasty before. We were told that this was the place to have one. We were not disappointed. The service was great and accommodating. The decor was old time, they had several front pages of news papers that covered various major news articles from the past. It was... More

I had lunch in Gamers all the time when in high school when I lived in Butte, their pasties were delicious, I loved them. The decor is older BUT neat unless they remodeled it!!! The staff is friendly and the food was good. Think they serve supper to OR maybe they changed that, just depends on the customers they have

We stopped in for breakfast on our way out of town. Staff was friendly and quick with serving coffee. Food was served hot and was very good!
