We loved loved the soups. YOu can taste them before making a decision. The service was friendly and the place is cute as can be. We had a great burger.

After reading the reviews we chose this place for supper during our one night stop in Bozeman. We were impressed. It isn't fancy by any means, but an awesome diner-like atmosphere. We loved how the food menus had license plate covers, and the drink menus were on wine bottles. The soup shack was so cool...getting to choose your soup and... More

Had lunch at The Garage on our first visit to Bozeman downtown area. We were attracted due to the outside seating and large patio area. We had an excellent lunch - their original hamburger and the pulled pork sandwich both very good. They have a dog friendly patio. The service was very good and although fairly busy we waited about... Stopped by here for dinner but they didn't offer a gluten free menu so just had a drink and appetizer. The food was decent and the selection of local brews was cold. Was very busy at the time and kind of hectic. Made a few mistakes but quickly remedied the order.

4 long hairs in my hamburger. They took the burger off and then charged us for the rest of our meal AND full price for our beer which should have been 1/2 price happy hour. So there was nothing done to fix it. But I did threw my guts up in parking lot. Disgusting... NASTY! Dirty kitchen

The Garage is in downtown Bozeman at a great location. We sat outside and the weather was divine. My son loves the car theme of the restaurant, it is a cool idea. The menus are wrapped in metal license plates and you can find car parts all over the restaurant. Our server was very sweet and did a good job.... More

Garage is the kind of place you want to visit & eat during you visit to new places. Informal atmosphere (you run into the kitchen & cook when you walk in the door...just the way the floor plan works:) Great food @ good prices....highly recommend.

From the license plate menus, to the soup sampler to the actual food, this place is terrific! The soup 'sampler' is awesome. I had a pulled pork sandwich with cider cole slaw - YUM. Great atmosphere, friendly service. Oh, and I loved how families could have their dog at the outdoor dining and waitstaff would fill their water bowls! My... More

Excellent service, felt like we were a featured group but noticed all other tables were treated the same. Ordered the veggies with the spicy blue cheese dip and ended up buying a couple extra sides of dip to bring back to Wisconsin with me. The soups were unbelievable and the burger and sandwiches were too. The waitress went out of... More

Stopped here as we were passing through Bozeman. Service was good, the menu covers were license plates and the menu items named after old cars. My dad would have loved it! Pros: service, atmosphere, great variety of menu choices, outdoor seating. Cons: Food was creative but some was a little odd tasting. Great soup, but my salad dressing was bottled... More
