Great food

The place was super busy but we were seated pretty quickly. The service was lack luster but the quality of the food and the selection of beer made up for it. Definitely be back again.

Despite its name, Ale Works is not just a beer place. The food is really outstanding, and very reasonable in price. Try the bison potstickers for appetizers. The beet and asparagus salad may be the best salad I have ever eaten. We have tried most of the entrees, which are large in size, well-prepared, and meet their menu descriptions. Service... More

Food was pretty good but you definately go there for the atmosphere. The old train car and train depot was a great look. I would recommend it for a casual night out when you are looking for something fun!

Good food, great beer! Fun setting, lots of locals and tourists. The sampler flights are a great way to go on the beer.

Fun place... at the far end of the down town area. Menu options are fun. Hard place to hold a conversation due to noise level.... not a big complaint... it IS an Ale House!

Fun dining experience at an old train depot and eating in an old train car. Lively atmosphere. Good food.

It's actually crazy I've never written a review of my favorite Bozeman restaurant in the 14 years I've lived here! This place is always packed, regardless of the day of the week, so you know they're doing something right! PROS: • Consistently great service. Hard to find in a college town where most servers carry a sense of entitlement with... More

After a long day traveling, 10 hours, we were more then ready for dinner. We were able to walk around downtown as we waited for our table. They can text/call your phone to let you know when your table is ready. Atmosphere is awesome- industrial look with a train car attached. Neat place to enjoy good food and company. The... More

Good food and good beer selection. We had excellent service while there. 3 pool tables. It's a large place w a loud vibe, straight forward and not funky. Normal feel for normal times

Traveling alone leads to immediate seating at the bar, but the place was packed. Bison pot stickers and the MEATLOAF. Do it, you know you want to
