If you visit on a weekend evening, be prepared for a 30-45 minute wait, but that'll give you a chance to sample an amazing assortment of locally-brewed ales. The food at Ale Works is consistently superior - you never get a bad meal or a bad cut of steak here. The servers are long-time employees who know all about preparation,... More

We decided to go to Montana Ale Works on the recommendation of friends in Bozeman. Busy place with many tables. Awesome local beer selection. I had the Black and Bleu Burger. Everyone at our table of five enjoyed dinner and drinks. Good value and friendly service too.

I would recommend making a reservation. Not the worst if you have to wait as they do have a lot of beers to choose from while you wait. The food is worth the wait! The taco dip appetizer was tasty and the wedge salad (added steak) was perfection!

Very consistent good food with a good atmosphere. I've been here several times and I've never had a bad meal or waiter/waitres. Food is reasonable priced 12-30 dollar entrees. You don't always get a lot of food but you know it will be good. Good selection on beer. Most are 4 to 5 dollars a pint. Restaurant is usually pretty... More

The burgers here were some of the best me and my girlfriend have had in Bozeman. Waitress was very friendly as well.

The food and drinks at the Aleworks are always good. What I don't care for is the noise level; don't go there if you want to have good conversation with your family/friends. The construction of the place makes it noisy plus the music is always quite loud - even an hour before closing.

I went to this place with high hopes looking at the reviews. They told us there would be a 20 minute wait so we put our names on the list and waited... and waited...for almost an hour. So I went up to the counter and asked how long the wait was. They told us that we "must've been kicked off."... More

We loved it. Great atmosphere and crowd. I had a burger which was terrific - large juicy patty cooked exactly as I ordered, meaty bacon slices, thick cheddar cheese and bbq sauce. The bun was toasted perfectly. The husband had the bison burger which he enjoyed. The fries are yummy. Huge selection of beer. Service was perfect. Highly recommend!
