Thanks to our fellow Trip Advisor reviewers, we stopped at the Montana Ale House in Bozeman on our cross country trip. It was a delightful meal. The burgers were excellent and there were many brews to choose from. They happily bring you samples of different brews to help you choose! Service was great and we loved the town of Bozeman!

We found this on TripAdvisor and loved it. I had a New York strip special which was very good. My wife had the steak salad which was very good, but could have used more dressing. My mother had a burger which was fine as well. He place had a great vibe and a great beer and wine selection. The building... More

I expected the usual pub fare and was amazed at dinner. I had Asian noodles with perfectly marinated chicken, snow peas and carrots. We also ordered steak which was equally amazing.

The day we arrived in Bozeman we headed directly here --- having read some excellent Trip Advisor reviews . The place did not disappoint ! Add to the great local beef burgers our charming bartender ( we ate at the bar) --- who went out of his way to give us directions and actually draw a map to a scenic... More

Struggled to finally get a review, but not displeased with beer selection and food variety. Try the Asian tofu salad!

This is now one of my favorite places to eat in Bozeman! I was staying at the Holiday Inn and the front desk girl recommended that I give it a try. I was not disappointed! Would definitely recommend to others looking for good food and a good atmosphere!

After our family of 9 searched Trip Advisor for high-rated restaurants in the Bozeman area, we chose Montana Ale Works for their selection of beer and food...unfortunately OpenTable showed no availability on the day we were in town for our large group. Fortunately, we were able to be seated quickly although we were walk-ins. Having tasted nearly all of the... More

We decided to give this a try and were not disappointed. Our server was a nice young guy and was helpful with menu suggestions. We were able to sit at the "free seating" area in the bar vs. waiting 40 minutes for a table. We didn't realize this was Montana State's move in weekend for freshman and the town was... More

Great place to just have a few drinks and a light lunch on the patio, or a great dinner in the restaurant. Wonderful building with all kinds of history. Former grain station, then warehouse, then bank building. Now, just a wonderful restaurant. Try the fish tacos!!!!!! Wait staff is awesome, which says a lot about the management.
