Since my last review of the Cateye, I've been demoted to an occasional visitor to Bozeman (but I live near Berkeley now, so no complaints). The Cateye continues to stand out in town as a fun, funky and friendly little place that unlike the ultra-hip movement that is creeping over downtown, does not take itself too seriously. The food is... More

This place has great character, and great food, as well. We went for lunch today. One son has chicken pot pie with corn bread, and loved it. (The corn bread was terrific!). The other son had a honey fried chicken sandwich that he really enjoyed. I had grilled veggie quesadillas....with more veggies than cheese....it was a great meal!

What can I say? The food is absolutely fabulous and the staff is way cool! We had the Cowboy and the Cowgirl (Banana Bread Frenchtoast with sausage or bacon.) Coffee was excellent, too! We were celebrating our 24th "When We Meet Anniversary" so we had a Mimosa, too! Delish!!

This was the highlight of our visit to Bozeman. We ate breakfast here and it was the most enjoyable time. Pancakes, eggs (exactly done overeasy) and just right bacon. Buckwheat oatmeal with banana, fresh blueberries, raisins, walnuts. When my wife says "this is the best oatmeal I've ever had", that's impressive. My eggs came positioned between the pancakes and were... More

Ate here often when we lived in town. Good biscuits and gravy and french toast. Made a point of stopping in while driving on our cross-country move.

Wow, great food with poor, rude service but I guess that is how the owners like it! Like the breakfast menu, especially the pancakes and soup for lunch. Cute decor.

Cateye has always delivered good food. Their breakfasts have been delicious. It's in an old building with lots of character just off the main drag of Main St.

The outdoor dining area in August was absolutely great! The salads are fresh and the fish divine. The menu has a nice selection; something for everyone. The restaurant is quirky, busy was an all around good experience.

we went for breakfast and what a great find. It was busy even on a weekday morning. The owner is very congenial and fun. The food was extraordinary for breakfast. They served many different kinds of mimoas in small or large sized glasses. it was a fun way to start the day.
