This place closed. Unusual it's still listed in trip advisor. Has been closed for some time apparently. Why write 100 words about a defunct establishment?

Looies Down Under was a great restaurant we could always rely on for special occasions and a place we could take guests. Sadly, after 15 years Looies Down Under has closed. Their Tuesday Crab Night was a favorite. All who went were bound to make a repeat visit. It had a unique atmosphere, some of the friendliest and best waiters... More

Hard to tell about this place from the street enterance. It is located downstairs. Fresh fish, meat, pasta & salads. A nice variety of menu items to please almost anyone. Nice atmosphere and good service makes it worth the walk downstiars.

Sorry to say but I wouldn't recommend this restaurant - at least not for brunch on Easter Sunday. The wait staff was friendly and the service was good. The food was dismal in my opinion - the food was not hot and the selection was bleak. Sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, tossed salad with wilted lettuce, chicken chunks with curry, fruit... More

Wonderful sushi, tons of different specialty rolls to choose from. Starting at $6.00 with the fanciest rolls being around $11.95. Wonderful staff amazing homemade deserts, we recommend the baked Alaska and the chocolate cake with maple frosting. Can,t wait to go back!!

We usually eat at least once a month at Looie's, almost always sit at the sushi bar and are consistently entertained by the sushi chefs (mostly Aaron, who rocks!). Thursday night is 10% off sushi which usually equates to a glass of wine or dessert. If you aren't a big sushi fan I recommend trying the Chilean sea bass served... More

Name me 3 restaurants to represent Bozeman for posterity: Looie's is among those (along with JBB and Sweet Chili). Their claim to The Best Breakfast in Town, their Sunday morning buffet is indeed legitimate. It is an odd, wonderful thing that they are in the same building as Sweet Chili. I would say this: when you get hungry, go to... More

Meal not cooked as requested... Owner jumping on staff in front of people paying too much for a sub par dinner. I always give a dining establishment a second chance. They have had theirs

Three of us ate dinner on a Tuesday night at Looie's. We had two orders of sea bass and one order of halibut. The meal was delicious. The vinaigrette on the house salads was very good. My wife thought the halibut was better than halibut at Chico Hot Springs. The deserts and service were good. We did not have reservations... More
