Good Food

We were looking for a lite dinner and our hotel recommended he Bistro. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was nice, not a very big restaurant. They had a couple of bigger parties while we were there so the service was a bit slow but we weren't in any hurry. As we were leaving, we... read more

John Bozeman's Bistro was fantastic for our wedding brunch of thirty. The excellent egg benedict choices (salmon, ham, veg) appealed to everyone. The cinnamon rolls are to die for, the banana bread french toast was unique and the mango mimosas delicious. The staff accommodated our every need and then some. We had approached caterers and other locales for a wedding... More

This was one of my favorite Bozeman restaurants under the previous owners and hoped it would be under the new owner as he was the chef there for many years. To my disappointment the food is several levels below the quality of the previous owners. He said he was hoping to appeal to younger diners - not sure how/why it... More

I just learned this place has amazing breakfast on Sunday only. Go over there if you are waiting in line for more than 20 minutes at some of the other popular breakfast sites. Absolutely delicious vegetarian platter available and lunch and dinner and some vegetarian options on the rest of the menu. Known for their great food and concern for... More

The Cajun chicken salad was yummy, good wine selection, but my server totally ignored me to pay attention to the two couples across the way. The manager was apologetic however. .

Mahi mahi or salmon. Molten chocolate lava cake. Same ol, same ol, though they tout themselves as a "local foods, fresh" place. We were most disappointed in our seating. We had reservations and the place was only half filled. Nonetheless, they seated our family in the cheap seats, back by the wait station, in a cramped diner style booth under... More

On several occasions this fall, we have had Sunday breakfast/brunch at JBB and found it to be not only unique and delicious, but the presentation was outstanding as well. The selections have a mixture of traditional ingredients and a other unique and unusual additions. Portions are very generous, service was great and while not "cheap", the price was reasonable. We'll... More

This place is quite good. Definitely bring your wallet it is a bit expensive, but amazing vegetarian options and really good food. Lunch doesn't set you back as much and is still great. Go here for a fancy date or dinner with family for a special event.

We've been to the Bistro many times over the years and it is consistently excellent. Stopped in for a quick bite after a long driving trip and had great tomato soup and shared a sandwich. It was fast, delicious and very satisfying. Kept us going for some shopping and another hour of driving. Always a great place.
