Casual dinner

This building has interesting history. The atmosphere is casual and the menu varietal. We enjoyed our dinner here. The prices are reasonable. I like that they have Bellini as a cocktail option. Nothing else stood out to me. It's a good reliable place to eat.

The food at this establishment is always top notch! Mistake and prawn dinner was absolutely jaw-dropping inspiring. My wife (as usual) had the Thai curry salad, which she always finds done to greatness. We have come here for years, and this is one dish that (rightfully so ) survives every menu change. I had the flank steak and prawns. The... More

We are not too happy with the "new" JB;s Bistro. They should change the name because the new version is a poor facsimile of the old one. The new menu is boring and brew pub like simple. There are very bright halogen pendant style lights hanging over the tables inches from your eyes-this used to be our go to place... More

The food here is inedible. The atmosphere is dated. The service is insulting. Barely took one bite out of an appetizer and two entrees and the wait staff was so disengaged they just handed us the bill and took the plates away. The “cheese board” was sweaty, waxy cheese that tastes as though it came out of a child’s lunchables.... More

The food was excellent. The house salad was very fresh and delicious. The service was excellent, very friendly. More than enough food for one meal.

This was our first visit to this restaurant and we were quite surprised that there were very few tables filled on a Friday evening when downtown was bustling. No cocktails here...just wine and beer. I had the Burger Boat which was absolutely delicious. Patty was covered with au jus and topped with a generous helping of sautéed veggies and feta... More

John Bozeman's Bistro was fantastic for our wedding brunch of thirty. The excellent egg benedict choices (salmon, ham, veg) appealed to everyone. The cinnamon rolls are to die for, the banana bread french toast was unique and the mango mimosas delicious. The staff accommodated our every need and then some. We had approached caterers and other locales for a wedding... More

This was one of my favorite Bozeman restaurants under the previous owners and hoped it would be under the new owner as he was the chef there for many years. To my disappointment the food is several levels below the quality of the previous owners. He said he was hoping to appeal to younger diners - not sure how/why it... More

I just learned this place has amazing breakfast on Sunday only. Go over there if you are waiting in line for more than 20 minutes at some of the other popular breakfast sites. Absolutely delicious vegetarian platter available and lunch and dinner and some vegetarian options on the rest of the menu. Known for their great food and concern for... More

We were looking for a lite dinner and our hotel recommended he Bistro. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was nice, not a very big restaurant. They had a couple of bigger parties while we were there so the service was a bit slow but we weren't in any hurry. As we were leaving, we witnessed a marriage proposal.... More
