Worth a visit

First, the shocker. This restaurant has a house wine that is a Pinot Noir from Patagonia, Argentina. It is outstanding and reasonably priced! I have only encountered wine from this region twice before. I came on a Sunday; they told me that being open on Sundays was a new thing. I sat at the... read more

At my visit yesterday with 5 of my friends, the food was okay but the service is the main issue. I had requested more Splenda for my tea and had to ask again...server said she "forgot". There were only 2 tables of guests in the entire restaurant, I was still chewing my food when the server asked me if I... More

Our family went to dinner here and we really struggled with the food. The soup was too salty, then the other members of the family food was okay but mine was undercooked. When I sent it back they just pulled the meat out recooked it and put it back on a new plate. The vegetables were now gone that I... More

I had the Turkey Club sandwich which also included sweet potato chips. Wow...so much food! The sandwich was delicious and the chips were amazing. Freshly made and seasoned perfectly! Prices were also reasonable. Definitely would recommend The Bistro!

We stumbled on this restaurant because if was across the street from our hotel. The decor and setting are a bit old fashioned, but the food was EXCELLENT. I had the Fiji Mahi described as "wild Pacific Mahi Mahi is crusted with macadamia nuts and served upon an island of cilantro-lime brown rice surrounded by ginger coconut sauce. Presented with... The food at this establishment is always top notch! Mistake and prawn dinner was absolutely jaw-dropping inspiring. My wife (as usual) had the Thai curry salad, which she always finds done to greatness. We have come here for years, and this is one dish that (rightfully so ) survives every menu change. I had the flank steak and prawns. The... More

We are not too happy with the "new" JB;s Bistro. They should change the name because the new version is a poor facsimile of the old one. The new menu is boring and brew pub like simple. There are very bright halogen pendant style lights hanging over the tables inches from your eyes-this used to be our go to place... More

The food here is inedible. The atmosphere is dated. The service is insulting. Barely took one bite out of an appetizer and two entrees and the wait staff was so disengaged they just handed us the bill and took the plates away. The “cheese board” was sweaty, waxy cheese that tastes as though it came out of a child’s lunchables.... More

The food was excellent. The house salad was very fresh and delicious. The service was excellent, very friendly. More than enough food for one meal.

This building has interesting history. The atmosphere is casual and the menu varietal. We enjoyed our dinner here. The prices are reasonable. I like that they have Bellini as a cocktail option. Nothing else stood out to me. It's a good reliable place to eat.
