Great sandwiches, great prices. Perfect place to pick up a ready-made picnic. Great pickles from the barrel. Friendly staff and well managed.

We went here for lunch at the recommendation of local law enforcement. It’s a small establishment, so probably best to get your food to go as we did. I got the Turkey sandwich. It was good, but nothing extraordinary. The portions are HUGE and the bread seemed very fresh. I would definitely recommend a half sandwich, it’s more than enough.... More

I had the pulled pork, spicy but good - But order the half sandwich - which is huge! I had to split that with someone. Close to the college.

This place is great for a quick bite to go. Great sandwiches, awesome pickles...limited seating in the winter.

This sandwich is the BOMB & wished I would've ordered a whole one rather than just half. This was my 1st visit here & absolutely LOVED it! Will definitely be stopping whenever I'm in the area again!

The Pickle Barrel is a great place for ice cream and sub-style sandwiches. The ice cream is delicious with a great variety of special flavors. Deli style rolls are used for their sandwiches which are huge and full of flavorful meats of your choice. You also get a whole pickle with every meal.

Understand, you will not be disappointed with the amount of food provided. HUGE sandwiches! I would only order sandwiches which are "beef" based. It seems the beef is less processed and less slimy than the other meat choices. Keep in mind, this place has kept college students and ski bums from starving to death for about 40 years. It's affordable... More
