Great cafe close the the museum

Just across the street from Museum of the Rockies I stumbled across this cafe for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the wide selection on the menu. I enjoyed a quiche & salad and coffee. It was a great spot for lunch before visiting the museum. The service was efficient and the atmosphere... read more

$8.50 for half a tuna sandwich?! No, that's not a typo! I can get a whole one at the co-op for $6.95 and it's much better quality! Sorry, Sola. Worst tuna sandwich ever. So not impressed.

Rose B, I am sorry you had such an experience. I understand that you may feel cheated by the price, and it is always your freedom to go anywhere in town that you wish.Yet, I feel you need to understand a few things. First of all, tuna has a very tiny margin for us. We don't make much money on... More

We visit Bozeman 3-4 times/year. My daughter lives near Sola Cafe. Went there last Sunday for brunch and it was horrible. Menu said "soft scrambled eggs." hard as a rock. i ordered carnivore's delight and it had ham. (s'posed to take 20 minutes so be patient.) took 6 minutes and no bacon or sausage. out of 4 adult meals none... More

I am a long time resident of Bozeman Montana and a frequent customer at Sola Cafe. But after my my most recent dining experience I do not wish to dine there ever again. To start, the lady behind the counter taking our order was absent minded and not fully attentive to me and my friends. We visited at around 6:30pm... More

First off Sola Cafe somehow managed to get themselves listed as a dog friendly restaurant... and they are not. They also are not a people friendly place. The atmosphere is cold and industrial and ugly. The food in the displays looks three days old... So, when it. Ones to ordering there is no table device and there is no board... More

Tortilla chicken, white bean, chili and other creative concoctions I can't remember right now. It doesn't matter what soup they are serving, I am satisfied. I also love the gluten free cookies, although they are best the same day they are baked. This place is local sourced and food sensitivity aware. I really appreciate their consideration for the community and... More

I have eaten at Sola cafe quite a bit, and don't know why I still go back. Maybe because it's the only restaurant on that side of town to grab something quick. Anyways, my experiences there have been consistently poor. I generally order something that takes 1 minute to warm up in the microwave, and receive my food 15 minutes... More

Having been in an "old" Bozeman place for breakfast we tried a "new" Bozeman place for lunch with the rest of the hip crowd. The menu is extensive ranging from simple soups and salads to quiche, hearty sandwiches and entrees. We opted for a light lunch, I had their chili special with a piece of delicious sourdough bread, while my... More
