This very busy cafe in downtown Bozeman, MT has mediocre food but very efficient service. When we arrived it was a Sunday morning, so the place was packed. We didn't wait long and got a table and coffee pronto. We each got a typical breakfast choice and both decided it was fair and nothing to write home about. I got... More

Best chicken fried steak. The pancakes are also very good. Recommended for breakfast and lunch as we have had their lunches also

The Western is an authentic small town diner with home style dishes and a friendly staff. Stopping in for breakfast is a must. While you are there check out the brands, as in ranch brands, historic photos and local art adorning the walls.

I had the harvest scramble with sausage. All the vegetables were great and crisp. The sausage was awesome... Tasted home make which I love. The decor is throwback western, but nothing felt old. Great meal all around. I'll be back next time I pass through Bozeman.

I regularly visited this place while going to college in Bozeman. Whenever I get back to Bozeman I always stop here. It is still as good as it was back then. This is an old school cafe. It doesn't matter what you order, it is always delicious. The Bobcat Special is one of my favorites. An outstanding place for breakfast.... More

The first morning i visited Bozeman i headed for the Nova Cafe as i had only read good reviews, but it was shut, so went here instead, great food and service and no regrets, and returned on another 2 occasions, still just as good. Well worth a visit.

While we were in Bozeman in October we decided to treat ourselves to breakfast out. We picked the right place. We waited outside for awhile, luckily on a nice day, and had killer breakfast when we finally ate. The eggs were done just right, and the hollandaise sauce is stellar. Good portions but not way too much. We were pleased... More

I must admit that Western Cafe served me the best pancakes I have ever had in a restaurant. They were so good that I almost didn't know what to do with myself. That said, my family and I had a very, very, very long wait for our food while multiple tables who were seated after us were served. It felt... More

Decided to try out this cafe when our stomachs were starting to grumble! Didn't know what to choose until I saw the blueberry pancake going out -didn't need any more encouragement! Friendly staff service and beautiful pancakes - what more could you want? Highly recommended
