WOW you have to go!!

Did not expect anything like this in Montana. This place is outstanding. We started with a starter dish that had three kinds of salami, pate, pickles and the best toasted bread you will ever have. Trust me on this. Oh and the ground mustard is super. Then we order a very unusual pizza. We had the... read more

We really enjoyed the menu and drinks at Blackbird. About the only downside is that we found it to be somewhat loud so that our dinner conversation was a bit muffled. Can be very busy, worth going to check out at least once if hungry in downtown Bozeman.

From appetizers to perfected pastries this place in town Bozeman is the best. Exquisite entrees to please every palette. Not a large menu but enough of a variation to make it interesting.

Nice little place. The atmosphere and clientele are both quite good. Prices in line with other upscale. Servers are very nice. I gave this normally 4.5 stat at gree star because of the long time it took to get our food (considering that when we came in it was very slow, people showed up by the time we left). Also... More

Every wine glass was towel-wiped before pouring, and they pour a lot of wine here. The house made Country Bread, each loaf with a perfectly thick, brown crust and spongy heart, was very Italian and quite possibly the best bread in the state. Our kale caesar salad was lightly crushed to tenderize, with the perfect hint of mashed anchovies, and... More

The four of us shared an order of bread and burrata (our server brought us a gratis order of country bread with olive oil first and we devoured all of it) and two types of salad. Then each of us had either a pasta, a meat dish or a pizza. So, lots of sharing. The salads were really spectacular --... More

I sat at the bar a watched. The salad chef mixed each dressing in the bottom of bowl, threw in a few greens, tasted it, and corrected the seasoning before adding the rest of the greens and tossing it. The only perfect salad I have had since my honeymoon. Then, I saw the person with dreadlocks at the stove do... More

We walked in with no reservation and sat at the bar. If you'd like a table it's good to call ahead and make a reservation. Our server Mike was attentive and knowledgable which we appreciated. We each enjoyed our pasta dishes. I had the Agnolotti which is a pouch filled with a delicate and flavorful mixture of Butternut squash and... More

I went last night. I ordered a fantastic organic red wine. It was delicious with the Charcuterie Plate. A Great way to wind down after a busy Monday. Then we shared the beet salad and a pizza. perfect. The service is always top notch. Thanks Blackbird

Stopped by on a Wednesday evening with no reservation (mistake) but got lucky and got a table for 4. By 7 pm, the place was packed. Blackbird has a great, casual atmosphere, friendly & professional waitstaff and a really interesting menu with a mix of casual (pizzas) to more involved mains. We all opted for pizza and they were fabulous.... More
