This restaurant is at the center of downtown Bozeman, at Main and Willson. It offers a good atmosphere, with specialty bison meals (and of course other meals) from Ted Turner's local ranch. Like most restaurants, there is too much food. Check out the lobby of the restored Baxter Hotel while there. Look up at the historic architecture.

We had the salmon. It was good but a little salty, as were the green beans. The asparagus was good. Our waitress was inattentive after we ordered.

If can be iffy. One visit can be perfect and the next can be mediocre. I do like that they have gluten-free options and a dedicated fryer. The food is usually good, but I wish it was more consistent.

Has become very popular quickly. Good American food, youthful staff, and an opportunity to enjoy tasty bison dishes. (Turner has a huge bison ranch nearby). I enjoyed the bison meatloaf. The downside is that it is small and can be noisy and crowded on week-ends.

First ate at Ted's a couple of years ago. I had my dog with me and we sat outside on a hot summer day. My dog lay right outside the fence of the restaurant in the shade. My server was wonderful, even brought my dog a bowl of water (I had water with me too but her kindness was appreciated!)... More

Great service. Had reservations for 8 o'clock which was too late, but they said if you come early there might be a chance to get seated. Not only were we 45 min early, they sat us immediately. This was on a Friday night and it was 'hoppin'! The food was wonderful.

I was disappointed in Ted's. Even though our table was waiting when we arrived, the service was very slow. The onion rings were great, but the other food was mediocre.
