Our visit to this eatery didn't start well - the front of house guy told us off for being half an hour late for our booking - only to realize he couldn't read his own writing and we were actually on time! No apology forthcoming. However, from then on we were very pleased with our visit. Our server was professional,... More

Wanted a good steak dinner so tried Ted's. I had the beef filet and my friend tried the bison rib-eye. Liked them so much we went back the next night and I tried the bison. We ate in the bar area at the front of the restaurant and the ambience was very 'western' as you would expect being in an... More

As my dinner guest said last night, "Ted's is like a difficult relationship, in that we desperately want it to be something better than what it is." That made me laugh and was right on. I really, really want Ted's to be a great place to take friends, clients, etc., but it just isn't. The vibe and ambiance are great,... More

Driving slowly down main street in Bozeman we were attracted by the historic (1929) Baxter hotel, which we discovered contains one of Ted Turners restaurants. We wanted a light warming lunch, the special of the day was a hot potato soup. It was great. Thicker than I usually like, however with a bit of a zing topped with crumbled bacon,... More

A relative had arranged to have dinner at Ted's our first night in Bozeman. After a long, hot, drive from Salt Lake City we were ready to eat. The menu had many great beef selections, but we all chose seafood.I had the Best Fish Sandwich ,my wife had the crabcake appetizer and my mother in law had the grilled shrimp. Everything was excellent... More

You have to come and try the bison pot roast or pecan crusted trout. Both were delicious. Staff was very friendly and efficient. No wait this time but be prepared for long waits at normal dinner service. Fridays and Saturday there's music.

Terrible food - terrible service! It took 20 mins to be waited upon - we went to the bar and ordered our own drinks. The burgers were over cooked - to the point we couldn't eat them.

We were staying in Bozman while we visited Yellowstone and decided to stop in this unique joint. I'm so glad we did! Our children loved the bison burgers (first time trying bison) and loved them! My hubby had the bison New York strip and raved about it! I enjoyed the cedar planked salmon and it was the freshest tasting salmon... More

Montana is a meat lover's paradise. Thanks to Ted Turner's herd of bison, one can have great bison offerings. Had reservations for 7pm on a Tuesday. Arrived 10 mins early and told it would be at least 25 mins to be seated. I guess there is no "reserving a table". People without reservations were told it would be 55mins before... More

We went in looking for the excellent dirty martini we've enjoyed at Ted's several times before, and a burger to share. The martini was still pretty good, but the burger was average or below; definitely not worth $16.00.. perhaps 10.00. The wedge salad had very little bacon, and very little dressing. finally we were able to get our server's attention... More
