Great food, great service (we had 25 people) and good ambiance. Don't see how you could go wrong. (Closed on Monday though). By the way, this part downtown Billings has been restored nicely.

Hear your expectations match what arrives to the table. The food is well presented and very good, whether you order a fish dish or a good beefsteak.

Wonderful food. GREAT service. Group of 15 for dinner and service went without a hitch. Drinks were well made and refilled often. Dinner was very well prepared and presented in timely manner. Desert was shared by all. Well worth the money.

Not my go to place because it's so popular and busy, which is a good thing but I rather enjoy my meal and not be a number. Over all good food but not sourced locally or organically.

Try the ahi tuna! 1/2 inch cut of tuna perfectly prepared and seasoned. The Jakes Great Steak is tasty as well. These people know how to cook a piece of meat. The service is just average but that's what I would expect from a nice steakhouse like this and it is located within walking distance to many hotels downtown Billings.

Jakes is the home of my favorite steak in Billings. The bacon wrapped filet mignon. I've had it at least a dozen times and it never fails to impress. Fantastic flavor and cooked to perfection. I get it with spicy potato cake and a side of blue cheese. Yum. Jakes has fantastic onion rings and buffalo wings too if your... More

Jake's is always busy and always good. They have some interesting (different) menu selections besides the standard beef dishes, which are always excellent. A bit pricey, but a nice treat once in a while.

Downtown is always the best place to eat in Billings. Last night I joined some friends, from out of town, at Jakes. They had eaten there the night before and were impressed so they wanted to eat there again. They are steak people and enjoyed the prime rib. I like coconut shrimp. Our meals were good, but our garlic mashed... More

Had a great steak salad for lunch. Waitress recommended. Big salad with lots of flavor. Steak was done to order. Ice tea was good too, less than $15 for the meal and drink.

We visited Jake's during a beautiful snowfall and ordered wings for an appetizer. We all really enjoyed the Sriracha Honey wings. My wife and her sister split a burger which they enjoyed. I found my burger to be average at best. I would be more than willing to go back. I Would skip the burger, my wife would order hers... More
