We arrived in town hungry and inbetween the lunch and dinner hours. Only the lunch menu was available and we wanted steaks. Had an event at 6pm so we couldn't eat later. Jennifer, an amazing server who seemed to be serving solo (got busy before we left) suggested the steak sandwich. I normally avoid bread but have to say it... More

We were referred by a local as they best place in Billings to get a steak. They were correct. The baseball cut top sirloin was very flavorful and cooked perfect. If you order a baked potato they come with butter, sour cream bacon & chives and serve your toppings tableside. Drinks were good and service was great.

Parking can be tough. You have to find a spot on the street. Bar food is a bit more casual. The dining room is upscale and pricier. Nice atmosphere.

Went there based on recommendation that it was a good place to relax and have a casual meal after a long work day. Food was good, service attentive. It is a nice place to have a casual meal (family or other), good service and reasonable prices

Before leaving Kentucky for Montana, a friend of ours sent us a long, long email giving us ideas of where to go and what to do. My wife and her friend picked out a restaurant on 1st Ave, North and when her husband & I went out to plug the address into our GPS, I put in the wrong address.... More

We arrived late in the evening to Billings not knowing anything about the city and decided to give Jake's a try. At first we were a little worried it would be nothing less than your standard issue "Bar & Grill" but were pleasantly surprised with a high quality experience that was elegant yet not stuffy. The server was phenomenal (don't... More

My wife and I spent a night at The Clock Tower Inn on the way from the Black Hills to Yellowstone. Jake's was nearby and looked very lively for a Monday night, so we thought we'd give it a go. We both had an 8oz sirloin steak with garlic mash and it was really lean, juicy and tasty. The freshly... More

After skipping lunch I was hungry and wanted a quick bite so I went into the bar at Jakes around 5; environment was a lively bar scene. My Manhattan was perfectly made the sliders were delicious. There were two other solos eating at the bar near me and the salads they ordered looked great. Service was friendly. FYI The portion... More

There were 4 of us traveling to Yellowstone and we stopped overnight in Billings. The hotel concierge recommended Jake's to us for dinner. It was the perfect recommendation. Service was very good, food was delicious...we had entree salads which were huge, steaks which were delicious and well prepared, and a yummy peanut butter chocolate ice cream dessert which is one...
