Ranked #171 of 273 restaurants in Billings
Cuisines: Mexican
Dining options: Lunch, Dinner
Description: An authentic Mexican meal is an assault on the senses. First, there is the sound of sizzling meat on hot plates. Then comes the aroma, slowly at first, and then in full force when the plate is in front of you. The contrasting colors of green, yellow and red peppers, meats, spices and salsas are a feast for the eyes. Our tortillas are soft to the touch. But most memorable, varied, and sought after is the taste. Whether it's the bite of juicy steak fajitas coupled with the cooling effects of our guacamole and sour cream, a refreshing sip of our famous margaritas or the crisp, perfectly salted bite of tortilla chips dipped in our fresh made salsa, we know that you won't be able to stop at one taste. Stop holding back, and come taste authentic Mexico!

This is one of those chain mexican restaurants that is not good. Seems like you're eating at an old hotel restaurant, food is not good or worth the money.

Paul, we strive to serve you original and authentic Mexican food at affordable prices, so I'm disappointed to read that you were unimpressed. If you're willing to give us another chance, our Sunday buffet may be a great way for you to find something you really enjoy! Take care and hope to see you soon, Sheri Daubert, Owner More

This establishment has been in Billings for many years. Although their food wasn't exactly as good as the last few times we were there, the customer service was fantastic. My kids had a great time watching everything from our booth.

Thanks so much for the kind words on our service -- what a nice dose of encouragement! I'm happy to read that your kids had a great time in your booth, but I'm disappointed to read that your food wasn't on par with your previous visits. It sounds like you may have caught us on an off night, and please... More

Made a dinner stop here in January. I have a restrictive diet so choices were few; the choice that I made (pork chili) was okay, but clearly not the greatest for a Mexican restaurant. My dinner partner had a taco that came on a flour tortilla. Again, not too Mexican. So, I'll remark that the service was fast and great.... More

A meal out to eat should include both tasty food and attentive service, so I'm sorry to read we weren't able to fully deliver. We serve authentic Mexican food, so I'm not sure what happened here, but I appreciate the feedback. I'm happy to read that you at least had great service, and I'll be sure to pass that along... More

We were seated at a filthy table that hadn't been cleaned off. We were the only people there at the time. Upon being seated at another table I was given a dirty water glass. Carpets appear to never have been cleaned. We had the breakfast buffet which had food that was barely warm. Bacon and sausage that is nearly cold... More

You should've been seated at a clean table to enjoy a hot and tasty meal with us, so I'm sorry to read that this wasn't the case. I can assure you that hygiene is extremely important to us, so we keep up with all standards here. What you're describing isn't typical of us, so it sounds like you must've caught... More

We travel all throughout the NW, and this is one of the worst Mexican restaurants we have experienced personally. Margarita....well I guess we have experienced amazing margaritas, so we're most definitely hard to please. But mexican food, which is usually filling, this one had mini portions for outrages prices. The server forgot the black beans and hot sauce. We had... More

It sounds like you know your Mexican food, so you're the last person we'd want to disappoint. I appreciate the feedback, though. It's important to us as we're always trying to improve. As for your meal, we make fresh, authentic Mexican here, and we price everything accordingly. However, your service should always be polite and attentive, so I'm disappointed to... More

I can say nothing negative about this restaurant. The staff is so friendly. The atmosphere is authentic and so is the food. This has got to be one of the best restaurants in Billings.

The level of cleanliness of the restaurant was unacceptable. I had enough health concerns after visiting the restaurant that I did not even place an order. Please clean up your restaurant so that I would feel comfortable trying your food.

I have been going to Dos Machos for years. When they were in their other building the atmosphere was much better than their new building. But the service is good and food is always good.

Haven't been to Dos Machos since they moved (10+ years). The environment isn't bad. Thae staff was very friendly. I had a chicken enchilada dinner with rice and black beans. It was ok. Nothing to shout about, but not horrible, except the rice was pretty salty. Had a margarita and it was so-so. Again, pretty average. Took re-heats into work... More

This used to be a great place to eat... No more! While the atmosphere was nice and the waitstaff was really friendly and provided great service, the food was HIDEOUS! Possibly the worst Mexican food I've ever had... Taco Bell is 3000% better. Nough said?
