An authentic Mexican meal is an assault on the senses. First, there is the sound of sizzling meat on hot plates. Then comes the aroma, slowly at first, and then in full force when the plate is in front of you. The contrasting colors of green, yellow and red peppers, meats, spices and salsas are a feast for the eyes. Our tortillas are soft to the touch. But most memorable, varied, and sought after is the taste. Whether it's the bite of juicy steak fajitas coupled with the cooling effects of our guacamole and sour cream, a refreshing sip of our famous margaritas or the crisp, perfectly salted bite of tortilla chips dipped in our fresh made salsa, we know that you won't be able to stop at one taste. Stop holding back, and come taste authentic Mexico!

"Was good, not great"

My family was visiting Billings for the night. We wanted Mexican food to have something different. Food was alright. Not the best I've had though. Kinda pricey as well.

The cheese enchiladas are really good. Everything else is just something to fill the empty place in your belly. It's perfectly edible but not remarkable. Where Dos Machos shines is its staff. The people who work here are awesome. I've been eating here since the early 90s and I've never had an unpleasant encounter with the wait staff. They're the... More

We were hungry for Mexican food and found this place by accident, lucky for us! Our waitress was superb and the food was delicious. I didn't have room for dessert, darn it. Will for sure be back again!

We are from Texas and hold Mexican food to that standard. The chili relleno [which I try every time I see them on the menu] was battered with something other than an egg batter and the cheese enchilada was normal. My husband's flautas were the size of chimichangas, not crispy and bland. The red sauce put over everything was blah.... More

Every time I have been to Dos Machos, the food has been good, the service excellent. My wife and I love this place. I have yet to order an appetizer or desert because the entrees have such generous portions. The Enchilada Dinner has yet to do me wrong (I did switch it up a bit this time, with shredded beef... I stay at the Hilton across the street and eat here at least one night when in town. This place is a solid American-Mexican restaurant. This is not the place to get an "Authentic" street taco but they do a good job on all of the menu items I have tried. The thing that stands out every time is the... More

Friend;y staff and wonderful menu. The bar is great. The first time we were there, they had a wandering group of musicians. Great. Is definately kid friendly, also.

We hadn't been to Dos Macho in years so decided to try it again against better judgement. Got seated right when we got in and then never saw a server for 20 minutes. Finally just got up and left.

Ok, we have lived several places around the country and have had excellent Mexican food in different locales. It has been a struggle to find decent Mexican in Billings. We decided to check out Dos Machos and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was nicely decorated, clean and service was very prompt and friendly. Chips and salsa was average. We ordered...
