My wife and I had lunch at The Granary in Billings, MT a couple days ago. She had been there just a few days before with friends and said the food was good, so we went for lunch as a couple. The Granary is nicely furnished inside, it is not the typical burger dive atmosphere. Inside, there is a small... More

Very overpriced for the quaility of food. Ordered steak and I recived mine so overdone it was hard. My wifes order was a salad combo - she could have done better at Golden Coral, she said!! The drink was good but I could have purchased a bottle for the same price. Bottom line, dont mine spending the money if the... More

Hadn't been here in years and visited again just the other night. Very nice! I had the Atlantic salmon & my friend had the tenderloin. Both were excellent! We shared the bacon wrapped scallops for our starter. Service was good and overall quality for $$ was good.

We decided to try the Granary for a special evening out. The dining room is very pleasant with soft lighting and nice background music making for a relaxing dining experience with good conversation. At first, the service was very slow, but improved as the evening went on. The wine list is extensive, with choices to suit every taste and budget.... More

The Granary on Poly Ave is a comfortable dining room with excellent food. I especially like their appetizers and they have a great wine list. A warning ... the risotto was really bad. However the host offered to exchange it and the gnocchi I got instead was WONDERFUL.

It has been a long while ago since last visiting the Granary. It has since changed management and has been updated. The dining room was very pleasant, the service excellent. I ordered the salmon, served over a bed of oriental noodles with added sauce. I had debated ordering the Black tailed shrimp, which 2 others in our party ordered. The... More

It was good to be back at the Granary-- has been a few years since i last ate there. We had a nice Saturday evening dinner for four from our family. The steaks and seafood were all good. quality. The menu is fairly limited/focused but good quality. The appetizers and salads are the most creative, and the main standards as... More

The Granary for me is all about having drinks on the patio and excellent appetizers. Their restaurant has been ok but I don't think it competes with the other great restaurants in Billings. Where the Granary shines is the outdoor seating, the bar, and the bar menu.

Years ago the Granary was the place to eat in Billings. Haven't been there for years and was not disappointed. A bit pricey now but had a good meal. Only comment...... Serve your steaks on a HOT plate. Was nice to re-visit.

Nothing more than mediocre-- barely mediocre. Food overpriced, small portion size, wait staff that did not pay attention to detail. Don't waste your money at the Grainery-- there are much better places to eat out in Billings.
