My son and I dropped in for a snack. The decor was old fashioned and quaint. I had the calamari which was good and tomato soup which was ok. Son had the kids fingers which he said was very good. The one thing I didn't love was the waitress kept trying to talk my son into a higher-priced adult entree.

Had early dinner with another couple. Three ordered burgers and one had fish and chips. Two of burgers were overlooked. Home fries were also overlooked but were not very warm. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff but don't recommend bar for food. Regular restaurant looked good and would try that next time.

The food was lovely, the staff really friendly and welcoming and the wine delicious. I would recommend! Two of waiters are on their way to study in the UK. I wish them all the best and hope they have a fantastic time.

We have enjoyed the Bigfork Inn for over twenty years and live nearby. The staff has always been excellent. Service great and friendly. Most restaurants have a policy of automatically adding a tip for large groups, so ask or read the menu if you have 6 or more and wonder if the tip will be on you check, it is... More

While on a trip to Montana from New Orleans, my husband and I stopped in for a nice night on the patio overlooking the quaint town of Bigfork. The restaurant is truly the centerpiece of the town, a historic lodge. After wandering through the authentic spaces of the dance floor, bar, and dining room, we were seated on the deck... More

Four of us had dinner at the Big Fork Inn on 14 June and it was awful. The chicken noodle soup was tasteless. My friend's rack of ribs was covered with a brown slime and pronounced the worst piece of meat he had ever had. His wife's salmon was dry and tasteless. My wife's schnitzel was OK but the vegetables... More

We went in winter. Getting a reservation was not a problem. We enjoyed the food. We especially enjoyed the wait staff. Lots of fun.

The interior is cosy and nice, feels more like a big living room somewhere in southern Germany or Austria. The service was friendly and attentive, food was nice, too. But the portions were on the very small side and even a main course was little.

I have eaten here for the last 25 years. I order the Duck almost every time. I travel a lot. Whenever I see Duck on the menu I order it. The way it is cooked crispy with bing cherries on top makes it superb. They have a salad with a vinaigrette dressing that is excellent. The Shrimp cocktail is also... More
