Pleasantly Suprised

I didn't have high expectations probably because the town isnt very big but Its an adorable small town and this restaurant sits on the end of its "Main Street." The BigFork Inn which is no longer an Inn has creative specials each night and a delicious duck dish. The patio is nice, the dining room... read more

My family used to LOVE this place! This is where we came for every birthday, anniversary, special occasion, because it used to be awesome!! The decline started years ago, first the got rid of linen table cloths and started using plastic, "re adjusted" their formerly amazing black and white mousse, and not the food is just terrible. Tempura is soggy... More

Do not eat here. To make a long story short, very rude 55 ish year old woman seated us. I asked waitress if we were even welcome due to the woman's horrible horrible attitude. Waitress said 'please start over with me' we agreed just because she was so nice, Food absolutely horrible and all very greasy. Cook has no idea... More

We went there regularly with our little kids who now take their little kids!! the food is reliable , never had a bad meal . The restaurant was under different management for the last years and although the service was still great, the atmosphere was lacking...before the management changed it was a go to place , however I understand that

I'm afraid that we will be adding this place to the "unlikely to visit again" list. There was nothing bad about our meal, but neither was there anything remarkable. The service was efficient and pleasant, the surroundings were very nice (great old building tastefully decorated, but the food was just very so-so. The bread was tasteless; the entrees on a... More

Whilst staying Somers Bay, we visited this Inn for dinner. We dined in the pub area and we were not disapoointed. Great service and the staff were friendly. As it was a quiet night at that time, we ate and drank at a leisurely pace! Beer selection was very good (recommend the Moose Drool!) The duck was superb!. certainly would... More

As the title suggests, we share dinner at this restaurant with friends and family before walking down the street to the theater. Fun evening out while staying at the lake cabin on Swan Lake. Atmosphere is very nice from this family owned eclectic restaurant. Food is good with friendly wait staff.

While visiting in Western Montana recently, our group of six decided to have dinner at the Bigfork Inn. We dined inside as the outside temperature was beginning to drop. The atmosphere was very relaxed and friendly and the service was very prompt. We all had something different and and found the food to be of very good quality. The selection... More

While vacationing in this northwest Montana region, I wanted to treat some friends to a nice dinner out. They recommended the Bigfork Inn, in . . . where else – Bigfork, Montana. Situated in this nice artsy town with a character and charm to die for, the Bigfork Inn dates back probably more than 50 years. Known years ago as... More
