As the title suggests, we share dinner at this restaurant with friends and family before walking down the street to the theater. Fun evening out while staying at the lake cabin on Swan Lake. Atmosphere is very nice from this family owned eclectic restaurant. Food is good with friendly wait staff.

While visiting in Western Montana recently, our group of six decided to have dinner at the Bigfork Inn. We dined inside as the outside temperature was beginning to drop. The atmosphere was very relaxed and friendly and the service was very prompt. We all had something different and and found the food to be of very good quality. The selection... More

While vacationing in this northwest Montana region, I wanted to treat some friends to a nice dinner out. They recommended the Bigfork Inn, in . . . where else – Bigfork, Montana. Situated in this nice artsy town with a character and charm to die for, the Bigfork Inn dates back probably more than 50 years. Known years ago as... More

We were told we could bring cake and ice cream but once we arrived with Big Dipper ice cream we were told that they would not allow us to have it there because they are a rival company of the owner's daughter.

We love Big Fork and the Big Fork Inn. We have eaten there many times but if you go in the summer and the Big Fork Playhouse is running then you might save yourself some time and drive to Kalispell for dinner and return to Big Fork. Really.....you'll save time. It took 90 minutes for our meal to arrive at... More

If you want to eat at at a restaurant, that will take you back to how restaurants used to look, feel and operate, go to the Bigfork Inn. OK, I'm in my 50's and people my age tend to wax nostalgic, but that is not always a bad thing. This is a restaurant that has kept the décor pretty much... More

We arrived just as the restaurant was opening. We were seated immediately. Our server, Anna was friendly, professional and courteous . The salads were fresh and the Huckleberry dressing was yummy. All six of us were pleased with our meals.

My son and I dropped in for a snack. The decor was old fashioned and quaint. I had the calamari which was good and tomato soup which was ok. Son had the kids fingers which he said was very good. The one thing I didn't love was the waitress kept trying to talk my son into a higher-priced adult entree.

Had early dinner with another couple. Three ordered burgers and one had fish and chips. Two of burgers were overlooked. Home fries were also overlooked but were not very warm. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff but don't recommend bar for food. Regular restaurant looked good and would try that next time.
