A bar is a bar, a taproom is home. There's something about walking into a small, cozy place after a long hard day on the job (or the trail, lake or river), pulling up a stool and ordering your favorite local brew. Woods Bay is an intimate community, and our original taproom there fits in perfectly. It's a small space with a big view. It's nautically themed, with a large deck perfect for live music on sunny Sunday afternoons in the summer. If you visit us here more than once there's a very good chance you'll see more than one familiar face. Our taproom offers the perfect place to enjoy all of our craft brews. So come visit us, sit down, enjoy a beer and maybe even chat with our brewers and take a growler and some bottles to go.

Good experience overall

I've been here 4 times now (right around the corner from home) and each time has been good, overall. This location opened about 7 months ago and there are still a few kinks to iron out. First, the parking area needs to be paved and marked ASAP. It gets very crowded, especially on the weekends, and... read more

Stopped in for a late lunch and was amazed at the great view and great food selection. We had some tasty beer with our meal and all was good. We would come back here!

very thankful the other restaurant had closed and we ended up here at Flathead Lake Brewing Company. What a great building, that in itself was impressive. Inside we were greeted by a kindly smile behind the bar and ordered our dinner and I ordered a sampling of their beers. Me thinks I should have checked out the size prior to... More

The high ceilings and hard surfaces seem to increase the noise level from the cheerful crowds and loud music. Impersonal service, OK food and moderate choice of beers, but having to either shout or lean very close to hear any conversation from the others in our party made this evening less enjoyable than expected. If they do takeout, a picnic... More

First time diners; by admission we usually go to another brew pub in Lakeside which we absolutely love. We were pleasantly surprised - husband loved the beer (and so did I), the food was very good (elk brat with huckleberry sauce and tri-tip) and the view from the bar seating was amazing for a sunny Sunday in Bigfork. It was... More

I only stopped (at the original location) to try a beer or two and had a BIG pretzel with beer cheese sauce. Beer, pretzel and cheeeese sauce? How can one go wrong for a snack?

i think the food is good, my favorite dish is the tri tip, lightly smoked and plenty of it. i have had it 3 times , the first two were very good but the third time was mediocre at best. the tri tip was dry and we all know that you must slice the meat a against the grain part... More

The view of Flathead Lake was great. There is a nice deck for viewing. The food was above average as well and the beer was cold!

We stopped in on our way back to Helena. Waitress was very friendly. My husband ordered a black and tan with their draft beers, but the waitress said the one's he ordered would not make a black and tan properly. She suggested a lighter beer that would be appropriate. When the beer arrived, the waitress stated that it did not... More

The setting, decor, and location give this Brewery an inviting and appealing invitation. The Beer selection of course is very good. However, the food is mediocre to average. I had the ribs. Well. When ribs are overlooked the texture becomes hard and sometimes black were you are unable to even bite into the rib, what little meat I was able... More
