Good beer ...kinda boring atmosphere. No one was talking at the bar. Wouldn't share their WiFi password. Come on!
e are beer snobs, and we beieve that Flathead Lake Brewery has some of the best beers in Montana. However, don't let the outward appearance, the very small size of the place, and the fact that some local always seems to be expounding extremely loudly at its small bar dissuade you from tryin its food. We were here on a cold Saturday afternoon, just two seats left at the bar. Bartender was friendly and attentive, got conversations going with lots of the patrons. Mix of locals and tourists, the kind that like great beer! Flathead has some superior brews - we are partial to IPAs and Flathead does some of the best. The crowd continued... More
My husband, 6 month old son and I stopped here on our long drive from Missoula to Calgary and we loved it. We had been to 5 breweries in Missoula over the past 2 days and Flathead had some of the best beer of all. We tasted 8 beers and bought some to take away. I had the buffalo chili... More

They have a good menu selection, and we were lucky enough to be there on the weekend when they have a BBQ menu. We had the buffalo burger and the elk braut and they... More

In the summer months make sure to check them out on facebook for updates on specials, BBQs, brews, etc. Be advised that the bar closes at 8pm, so head on over to the Raven which is across the Rd to continue your drinking... There was a fair amount of variation in the flavors and cuisines available, so even though the... More
