Almost perfect

We had drinks, breakfast and dinner at Carabiner's. The margaritas were wonderful, with fresh squeezed lime. Breakfast omelette's were all good, oatmeal was wonderful, but the lemon chia pancakes were awesome. Wish I could have tried the French toast, but not enough days. Dinner salads were... read more

We went twice as we were staying in the Summit hotel. At dinner, the maitre d walked away from us before showing us to our table. After being ignored for 15 minutes, I had to ask for someone to attend to us. Another five minutes passed before water was brought out. The food was poor. We returned for breakfast for... More

We were staying at The Summit and after a day of traveling decide to walk downstairs and eat at the hotel. While a bar it is a very nice place to have dinner. The cocktails were excellent along with the food. The service was attentive and prompt. The atmosphere is beautiful and comfortable.

Food choices were great and food taste superb. I love the roasted Brussels sprouts. The beef and trout was also excellent!

Pretty good food, however the service was a pretty slow. It's not the main season so I think they are not at the usual level. In the winter this is a great place for lunch and beer.

We have been here this summer and summers past. We really like the place. The food has vastly improved this year from past years. The service is almost always friendly and responsive. There are "healthy" options. And that view is really something else! I don't know why more folks don't go here to eat, but that does mean it is... More

great drinks and music. You won't want to get out of the comfy chairs. Only downside was the fireplace was out of commission.

If spa isn’t your thing, I suggest chillaxing at the Carabiner. Most afternoons there’s live acoustic music at the Carabiner Lounge. It’s the perfect spot for apres ski. We suggest taking your drink outside–there’s a roaring fire pit surrounded by snuggly white fur blankets. Get the kids a cocoa as you sip a nice Pinot Noir. I’m sure you earned... More

Very nice place to Apres, if service means nothing to you. The food was really, really good, but the poor level of service seriously detracted from the experience for me. I was in this place 3 times during my stay in Big Sky, mostly because it's lovely and convenient, and I got bad (and on one occasion, just plain rude)... More

This place fills up quickly right after the lifts close so get in quickly! Great live music that when finished, almost saw an exodus from the bar of all the patrons. I had a great Bison burger and some excellent Clam Chowder (go figure?) Music starts up again around 8:30pm...and of course it fills up once again.
