I had 2 dinners during my stay. Very good service one night and ok the next. The food is very good with a nice selection including game. I would highly recommend the meatloaf sandwich, awesome. Nice wine and beer selection with a great bartender if you have to wait for a table. My only knock on the place would be,... More

We love Bucks T-4, it has great Montana food that we love. Most recently we were there August 27, 2014 and had a large group of family there before kicking off our wedding weekend. They took a large reservation at the last minute and were very accomodating and I loved that night we had with our closest family. We had... More

This was a nice way to finish off a family trip to Big Sky and Yellowstone. Several locals recommended Bucks for dinner. The ribs were very tasty. My mother ordered the duck and she said she enjoyed it. Try the Dirty Girl cocktail if you would like to taste an adult version of root never. Nice ambience and the wait... More

Wow ! Has this place changed ! Menu is great, literally something for everyone! The service is the best in Big Sky which if your familiar with the area this a major plus! I enjoyed an elk steak that was cooked perfectly! Tried the salads and they are large & delicious! Returned a week later to eat in the saloon... More

Believe it or not, this was one of only two restaurants in the entire area that had mountain trout on their menus, the setting was rustic, with many photos of famous patrons. The food was excellent and the service above average. The only thing that would deter my return was the prices. You are obviously expected to up the ante... More

My husband dined here during our stay. We both had steaks and thoroughly enjoyed! I also indulged and had the Russian Creme dessert and OMG... It was one of the best desserts I've ever tasted!!

Several "locals" had suggested we eat here because they had heard great things about it (but had never eaten there themselves). It was okay. Nothing special and a little pricey. If we lived in Big Sky we would probably eat there again but just traveling through I would most likely eat somewhere else.

Authentic Montana setting with helpful and interesting explanation on the placemats of cow branding. The service was friendly, and efficient. The menu was red meet focused and our Bison Tenderloin was perfectly prepared, tender, and very delicious. The local trout was in an interesting garlic cream sauce and the side of duck bacon was the highlight. What is duck bacon????
