We had a small group of 7 couples = 14 people. We has some trouble getting a reservation confirmed for new years eve- but when we got there they were fine. Good drinks - try the Moscow Mule! Food was excellent, everyone enjoyed their meal. Service was great - quick and friendly. Game room in the back was good for... More

Excellent bison, good service, quiet atmosphere allows for good conversation. Not hard to find, on the main Highway #191 just outside of town.

Had dinner on the way to big sky and ordered the walleye with bok choy. Maybe due to the time of year but the fish was just OK. The major bummer was that the bok choy wasn't washed completely. I like roughage but not into geophagia.

Four of us went to Buck's T-4 for our last dinner in Big Sky. We had been cooking in for most of the week, and decided to splurge on our last meal. Several people had recommended Buck's to us, and it didn't disappoint. All the meals and sides were fantastic, but I cannot recommend enough to save room for dessert!... More

This was our third time. I had the trout , my spouse had the prime rib. It was the best meal we had in the area. We had just left a private ranch, owned by a billionaire, and the food was as good as what we were used to.

If you go to Big Sky for just one meal, no matter what time of year, go to Buck's. It is Gallatin Valley history in a setting you'd expect- wood, taxidermy and genuine hospitality. The food does not disappoint, and the wine list is unexpectedly long and diverse. They have kept all the ambiance but not stayed bogged down in... More

We took my husband to dinner at Buck's for his birthday - Saturday night, 7 p.m.and had great service in a warm, pleasant environment. We enjoyed the mussels and butternut squash soup, cauliflower "steak", rib eye and the prime rib is not to be missed...along with the accompanying popover - yum! The 4 of us cleaned out the roll basket... More

Decided to have dinner here based on past great reviews. They did not disappoint. The only regret was that I did not take pictures of the food. It was visually stunning. The spinach salad with duck bacon and deep fried egg was amazing. We did have a small complaint about too much cracked pepper on my wife's salad. It was... More

I don't understand all the fawning reviews of this restaurant. First of all, the decor is dated and has not been upgraded for years. I am all for shabby Montana chic, but this is borderline nasty. This restaurant generates plenty of business, but they don't bother to put anything back into the physical plant. The menu features meat prominently, and... More

Our dining experience was awesome! Ancho Chili Pheasant Quesadilla made with griddled gordita tortilla, pepper jack cheese, roasted tomato salsa, smoked corn relish, cilantro-lime cream, and guacamole. The pheasant is much more flavorful and richer than chicken which paired well with ancho chili. The pepper jack cheese was gooey and the ingredients worked well together.
