The only down side to this mostly great meal was the attitude of the snooty and condescending bartender. We arrived early for our reservation so headed to the bar. There were 5 empty stools so the three of us sat down. The bar tender came over to inform us that he had two reserved(?). What about hello and welcome? Never... More

Everything was perfect. My family of five had a superb meal and experience - not one thing that wasn't excellent. Crisp fresh salads, a French onion soup that was to die for. We had a wide variety of entrees - pheasant, pork chop, lobster mac & cheese, bison short ribs. Creative flavors, cooked to perfection. Service was wonderful, atmosphere was... More

Great meal with friends in this cozy Big Sky restaurant. It was offseason so reservations were not a problem. Appetizers were pretty standard fare but the entrees were more interesting. Had the pheasant with sauce grand veneur which was cooked appropriately and delicious. No actual pheasant blood in the sauce, though still mildly gamey which was what I was looking... More

The food here is as wonderful as the setting. The adult grill cheese is incredible and enough for two and the skillet cookie with huckleberry ice cream is a dream!

we recently found a second great place to eat in the big sky country. Olives B is an amazing find for the area. The mussels appetizer were as good as could be, the alaskan halibut was perfectly cooked and the wine by the glass was perfectly matched. We found the prices to be very fair. This is a bistro that... We'd been looking for some place to eat between the typical lunch and dinner hour. Olive B's had a limited menu during this time but we were able to find enough tasty and filling appetizers to fill us up.

Olive B's opened around 3 years ago, taking the place of a failed Mexican Restaurant which used to be good, but went downhill. Olive B is just what was needed for Big Sky. not the usual steak, ribs, burgers, etc. A reasonably priced restaurant with great cooking and a great chef, good service, and good atmosphere. This trip to Big... More

Simple and attractive restaurant with warm and welcoming service. We were advised that we should bring our appetites since the portions are generous. We were amazed when the barbecue buffalo ribs arrived, they almost did not fit on the plate. The 4 huge tender ribs slow cooked for 48 hours were delicious both the first time and as left overs.

Certainly one of the highlights of our recent trip to Montana was our dinner at Olive B's. Having reserved through open table we were pleased that our reservation meant something in that we were seated on time and given a great table. Most memorable was the 16 ounce ribeye prepared with perfection. Enough for picnic lunch leftovers on our hike... More
