we recently found a second great place to eat in the big sky country. Olives B is an amazing find for the area. The mussels appetizer were as good as could be, the alaskan halibut was perfectly cooked and the wine by the glass was perfectly matched. We found the prices to be very fair. This is a bistro that... We'd been looking for some place to eat between the typical lunch and dinner hour. Olive B's had a limited menu during this time but we were able to find enough tasty and filling appetizers to fill us up.

Olive B's opened around 3 years ago, taking the place of a failed Mexican Restaurant which used to be good, but went downhill. Olive B is just what was needed for Big Sky. not the usual steak, ribs, burgers, etc. A reasonably priced restaurant with great cooking and a great chef, good service, and good atmosphere. This trip to Big... More

Simple and attractive restaurant with warm and welcoming service. We were advised that we should bring our appetites since the portions are generous. We were amazed when the barbecue buffalo ribs arrived, they almost did not fit on the plate. The 4 huge tender ribs slow cooked for 48 hours were delicious both the first time and as left overs.

Certainly one of the highlights of our recent trip to Montana was our dinner at Olive B's. Having reserved through open table we were pleased that our reservation meant something in that we were seated on time and given a great table. Most memorable was the 16 ounce ribeye prepared with perfection. Enough for picnic lunch leftovers on our hike... More

Came here for lunch seeking somewhere to get something other than pizza or burgers. Disappointed to have so few selections, what we had was ok, nothing special. I enjoyed the spinach salad but my French onion soup was too salty. Son's Cobb salad was pale and unappetizing, they forgot to put the turkey on it, no tomatoes, just ice berg... More

I would recommend this restaurant. It had a nice atmosphere and a beautiful location. Service was a little slow, so it’s not a place to eat if you’re in a hurry. I was there for lunch and had the BLT with sweet potato fries. The BLT had thick bacon and plenty of it, and the sweet potato fries were very... More

We have been coming to Big Sky for 12 years in the spring and fall. We shop at Willows next door and always dropped in at Luna's, but learned it had closed and Olive B's came in. OMG! Chef Warren is fabulous and even visits with patrons. Excellent wine pairings and excellent service is also provided. The prices are reasonable... More

I will make it short - I have eaten at most of the restaurants in Big Sky over many years - this is just the best food on the mountain or in the valley. Do you like duck - no, not the over-cooked quackers that most restaurants start at about 4PM? This one is crisp and juicy. All of the... More

Olive B's is a favorite for my family in Big Sky. I have honestly not ever had anything that was not great. But tonight, I ordered the Halibut Special and it rates off the charts. The service remains outstanding. If you are in the area, you must try Olive B's. If you frequent Olive B's, you must try the halibut!... More
