After a day of cross country skiing at Lone Mountain, our group of three had lunch at the dining room in the resort. Great space, terrific service and the food was just fabulous! We had the chef come over and share the recipes, it was that good. When the bill came, we were expecting this to be a pretty expensive... More

We have stayed at the ranch for 12 winter seasons, but this year the increase in price and decrease in quality that we experienced last year put us off and we stayed elsewhere. However, we still skied the trails (excellent) and met friends in the dining room for lunch and on consecutive evenings for dinner. The lunch buffet is average... More

Thank you for sharing your experience. I am personally disappointed the service was so poor and as you described it was way below our standard. I look forward to your next visit and on that occasion I am confident you will experience at or above the level you've become accustomed. My sincere apologies, More

The dining room at Lone Mountain Ranch is what you picture for the quintessential upscale guest ranch. Soaring beamed ceilings, yet warm. Servers in ranch attire. Very good food. For this area, a don't miss.

Despite the fact that we were not staying at Lone Mountain Ranch (LMR), we visited two days in a row to enjoy cross country skiing and snow shoeing. Our instructor encouraged us to enjoy the lunch buffet after our lesson, enticing us with the promise of all we could eat for $13 a person. We bit, and we are glad... More

What a beautiful spot that is worth seeking out. Lone Mountain Ranch, is a cross country ski mecca and resort with cabins and a gorgeous log cabin style dining room. We had great service here, and my husband's meal was very good. Mine was fairly bland and tasteless but we will be back to see if they've improved later this... More

Cross country skiing at Lone Mountain is always fantastic, and as a "local" my husband and I are there once or twice a week throughout the winter season. We used to enjoy their lunch buffet but the past two years had been such a disappointment we packed our own sandwich when we went to ski. We were just there on... More

We decided to dine at the ranch after stopping to check it out for a cocktail. We initially were turned down when asking for a reservation earlier in the day . after stopping in just to check out the ranch the bartender said she could set us outside at 8 . We saw good things and thought great! Well we... More

After reading your review, I'm not impressed with us either. When you are dining with us we need to manage the entire experience, from the food, atmosphere, service and to some extent the other guests. We failed in all aspects. If possible, I would like to treat you to a meal on me. We want to demonstrate that your experience... More

We were fortunate enough to be guests at the Lone Mountain Ranch. What a great experience. The food was great, the service was casual but attentive. Just what one would expect on a proper western ranch. We loved it!

This reviewer used the term "rustic elegance" to describe our dining experience. We call it "Levi luxury". Either describes the balance we try and achieve in our service, atmosphere and menu selections. You "loved" the experience and we love creating it for you. More
