We had take out. The breading on the "general's chicken" was bland and and tasteless and so much of it that it all fell off the microscopic chicken pieces. The hot and sour soup had only julienned slices of tofu, nothing else. We had the wonton soup. Nothing inside the one wonton in the soup. The rest of the items... More

5 adults and 4 kids, perfect efficient service and excellent food. We ordered 8 different dishes, All arrived timely which was very helpful when children are waiting. We all ate to our hearts content and still had some to take home.

Actually, I used to avoid Chinese food at all costs because it is usually so salty and unnaturally shiny. I have been in Big Sky for a few years now and have been hesitant to try China Cafe, but one night we had nothing planned for dinner and my husband suggested we finally try it. I am so glad we... We get take out. The combination fried rice is great. Very friendly owners and good value. Cashew chicken and king pao pork is also good.

Good solid chinese food. Service was excellent and very much appreciated their fresh veggies and low use of fat and no MSG. Reasonable prices.

We enjoyed this food so much, we went back a second time in 2 days. The food was hot, and had a nice spiciness to it, just as advertised. The vegetarian dishes are usually bland, but this place took pride in them, and was much better than most Chinese restaurants in larger cities. We took out both times, but dining... More

Friendly staff. They opened earlier than hours posted and when we asked if we were too early they stated they were delighted to serve us. Food was delicious!

First, I lived 19 years in Northern New Jersey where there are Chinese restaurants by the thousands, some good, some great, some fair, some bad. I have eaten at about a hundred of them and know the difference between quality and authenticity. China Cafe is on the high end of excellent scale. Living in Big Sky now, I eat there... More

My family and I visited from Seattle. We shared their crab rangoons, kung pao chicken, general tao chicken, and tofu with mixed vegetables. It is evident that the vegetables were crispy and fresh. I especially love that they do not use MSG! Everything was very well seasoned. Along with the great food, their service was very fast and friendly. The... More

I don't expect gourmet in Big Sky, most especially Chinese. However, even by low expectations we set on eating here, they exceeded our lowest ever. This place is awful. It does not deserve its business. About the only good thing I could say about it, is that by comparison to many places to eat in Big Sky, it is cheap... More
