Best Thai in MT

Lotas pad is an amazing, cozy, hot spot in the meadow village. Making it a regular trip for us up from Bozeman. Great cocktails and an awesome sharing menu with fresh local products.Crying Tiger is a must(although we miss the shrimp). Service is awesome, servers are knowledgeable and accommodating.

Ok, first realize your going to eat Thai food in Big Sky Montana, second consider it is a small restaurant with a mini-open kitchen, they seem to do a fair amount of take-out so that messes up the kitchen flow, and fourthly realize your going to sit and enjoy some nice Thai beer while you wait. If you come with... More

On our first night in Big Sky, we ended up at this very crowded Thai restaurant and had a wonderful dinner. I had the special which was a salmon stir fry - seasoning was great and nice size portions. Most of my colleagues couldn't finish their dinners - although we did have a lot of great appetizers also. Great service... More

Very worth the visit. But, definitely make reservations. Busy all the time! They also do takeout if you are desperate.

A 15 minute trip down the mountain - but nice vibe - nice and reasonable price food. We ate downstairs since someone told us the ventilation was not great and you came out smelling of food if you sat upstairs - maybe temporary problem. Friendly staff and great music. You have to make a reservation

Came here because of all the raving reviews. I've prepared myself knowing that I shouldn't expect authentic Thai food, still I was underwhelmed. Environment: small, smoky, dashes of color, a little ad hoc, not bad, feels a little hippie. Food: Ordered a salmon spring roll and a Pad Thai. They were both okay, not fantastic. The much raved about Pad... More

When I'm out of Montana, the Lotus Pad dominates my foodie dreams. I have never had a bad meal in the Lotus Pad, and it is absolutely worth dining here if you are in the area. However, if you don't like hot/spicy food, this is not the place for you. But if you like delicate flavors in a spicy dish... More

First night in town we tried to call to get a reservation for dinner. After being placed "on hold" (actually phone just set down while person doing other things) for 5 minutes and no one coming back to the phone I just hung up. On the last night in town we decided to get carry-out. Again, place "on-hold" when called.... More

Ok, it's the most popular restaurant in Big Sky. I get that. But I have had much better Thai food elsewhere and at a much more reasonable price. My green curry was watery and had some weird undigestible veggie in it that I could not even chew. Not nearly as spicey as advertised. My buddy's bison dish had little meat,... More

It is not real traditional Thai . First you need reservation , too small place and feel very tied. It is not like oriental people cook:)). We get tom ka soup, that was very good , but it much more heavy then traditional , more coconut milk, more heave . Red curry was imprisation curry , not the best on... More
