Great food at a great price

Choppers had a great food selection; we had the trout platter, several varieties of burgers (bison burgers!), and mac & cheese for the littlest one. Service was fantastic and we all enjoyed our meal.

We always come back here thinking it has to be better than the last time and it never is. The service is so slow and the food borders on mediocre. Every time I order the soup it arrives cold. The one saving grace is the cold beer and there is a game room to entertain the kiddos. I know some people... More

We visited Choppers with our family on July 4th before the fireworks in the park. We walked in and it wasn't busy at all. We were seated right away. That was the best part of the visit to Choppers. We had three or four different waitresses, none of them aware of what the last waitress did. We waited forever for... More

We were told to just have a seat when we walked in even though the sign said wait. After we sat down the hostess made some comment about waiting to be seated as she walked past the table and threw our menus down on the table. Then we had others show up from our group and we asked if we... More

What a difference six months can make. Last fall, I wrote a review that put Chopper's burger as # 1 in Big Sky. What happened??? We have now visited three times (strikes) since returning in May, asked for the burger cooked rare and have received overcooked (dry, well done) burgers each time. In the past, the meat was promoted and... More

Nice menu selection and great bar. We like sitting at the bar at Choppers and ordering our first meal of the visit to Big Sky area there. Our trip usually coincides with start of NCAA BB Tourney so we enjoy a game while we eat and enjoy a drink.

Stopped in for lunch a bit after season closing, french dip was good, friend ordered cheese burger that he enjoyed. Cold beers, good tasting french fries. Big Sky has a limited selection of choices so you will most likely find yourself eating at Choppers if you stay in the area for a week or more.

The food was good, the service good. It was their mud season so the place wasn't busy. We ate their two nights because it seemed to be one of the few places open.

We have been to Choppers 3-4 Times and were consistently disappointed. Last night was the final straw!! Walked in and sat ourselves at one of many dirty tables. Waitress came over after at least 5 minutes to acknowledge us and after asking for drinks we mentioned the table needed wiped off. Her sarcastic reply of "that's because it's dirty" left... More

We usually make a stop at Choppers whenever we get to Big Sky. On this trip the food was tasty. Our group had a burger, meatloaf, mac n cheese, kid's quesadilla, and prime rib sandwich special. The carrot ginger soup special was tasty but not very hot. Burger, prime rib, n meatloaf were excellent. Mac n cheese could have had... More
