Drove out here today for a little day trip. Been to The Pheasant before a couple of times but not for a few years. Gorgeous location with views of the Cheshire countryside (shame it was torrential rain, blooming English summer!) So lovely inside, typical country pub with really comfy soft chairs and the candles lit. I had the Beef Roast... More

We have been to the Pheasant twice now and on both occasions were impressed. Beautiful surroundings, with views across the Cheshire countryside. Dog friendly, which we like to see. Good sized tables to eat at and a good selection of well kept real ales. The food is excellent, instead of having a starter we had a bar snack ‘nibble’ the... More

We arrived on the Thursday in time for lunch, having booked in at reception we were shown our room and deposited our luggage, it was nice to be able to bring the dog into the bar area whilst we ate.it seems there are a lot of people who bring there dogs here as we met quite a few for our... More

The Pheasant Inn is surrounded by beautiful countryside which is stunning on a lovely day. The Inn itself has a lovely warm inviting country pub feel. I would recommend booking as we have turned up before without doing so and not managed to get a table. The staff were very welcoming, however we did find the service a little slow... More

The Pheasant Inn was recommended to us after a driving experience at JLR and, although it took a bit of finding, it was a real gem. The views were fabulous and so was the food. Couldn't fault it and will definitely return.

Came here last year and back again this year. It's a shame i live 180 miles from from this restaurant otherwise I'd be here more often. We had 3 meals including starters and deserts (and drinks) and all the food was excellent. The tastes are great, the food was hot, the service was good with polite and friendly waitresses. The... A little tricky to find as the brown signs tend to peter out. The size of the car park will be your first sign as to how popular this place is so either make sure you book or get their early. The seating area outside is popular when the weather is fair and affords some great views over Cheshire. Inside... More

Happened upon this gem by accident. Fabulous food, plenty of variety on the menu. Reasonable prices as well-no complaints. Amazing views from the restaurant and veranda over the Cheshire plains. Staff really welcoming, can't wait to go back.
