Good food and service

Dined here on several occasions and enjoyed the food, today was no exception. Waiter seated us straight away at a table which had lovely views over the rolling hills. The food arrived without delay and was very enjoyable.

As always, a great location, but unless you are having something like the fish or burger, which come with chips, the food prices and portions are now a real disappointment for what you get. No sides included with the more expensive meals and when we ordered after seeing the tiny portions, we got a dish of veg that only included... More

Sat in the garden on a lovely sunny afternoon week-day. Ordered x2 sandwiches, x2 ploughmans , a side-salad and side of chips. We had to chased the food twice and it eventually arrived just under an hour after ordering. If we hadnt got tw hungry kids this might not have been an issue but as it was it was enough... More

Great location, great views, good service & nice busy atmosphere. However.... Not particularly impressed with the food offering. Menus were sticky & table was also smeared/sticky - some very basic hygiene standards missing - presumably because the place was busy (perhaps too busy). We came here for Sunday lunch & we left feeling that the food wasn't really up to... More

Visited on a lovely sunny Sunday as the view from this Restaurant is fabulous!! Welcomed and seated immediately and drinks order taken by very friendly staff. Food order was taken quickly too. All food was really well presented, delicious and beautifully cooked and piping hot. I had the Duck with Beetroot sauce, so tender, my husband had the rib eye... More

This is in a most amazing location the views are to die for. We are lucky enough to live not to far away from this inn and it is one of our favourite places. The meals are always spot on, the atmosphere here is lovely and the staff are most welcoming. Also being so close to the sandstone trail it... More

Hadn't been here for many years. Today I wanted to drive to a nice country pub with a friend for lunch and decided to revisit! First impressions count! Lovely, clean car park and beautiful floral exhibits. A lovely outdoor area with beautiful views over the Cheshire Plains. We hadn't booked but we were immediately greeted by very pleasant staff and... More

I've had only enjoyable and pleasant experiences when visiting The Pheasant Inn, absolutely everything is spot on! The staff are friendly and welcoming, the food is absolutely superb and the atmosphere and overall 'feel' of the restaurant is warm and cozy. In addition to this I must mention the view - they have the most spectacular view, with the option... More
