Second time to Avalon Cafe and sadly, it was just as mediocre as the first time. House gives it a nice start with hopes that the rest will be just as inviting. The building was marginally keeping it comfortably cool, so it was a bit warm. The tables and chairs are uncomfortable and if you are taller than 6'2, you... More

We tried this resturant out for the first time on my birthday. It was a huge let down and not a great start for a new year older to begin. The view sitting outside was nice, but that was the best part of the evening. The food was way overpriced for the quality recieved. The one thing I got from... More

This place is wonderful. Service is excellent, menu has some unusual items that you really should try.The wild boar is more tender and tasty than a pork roast. (after all, it is really just a wild pig), Be adventurous and go for it. Great martinis. Owners are friendly and if not to busy, will visist with you. The chef is... More

I have been here several times and every time has been better than the rest. The staff is very attentive and I was greated with enthusiasm. The food was exceptional and Dave and Lisa are wonderful hosts. Olivia is a great sever.

I went here with my husband's family for brunch on Mother's Day. The restaurant is right downtown and is in an old historic house, so it has a nice charm. We got baked brie as an appetizer, which was plenty for five people to split. I got the asparagus, brie, and smoked ham quiche that was on special. The service... More

This restaurant clearly relies on unsuspecting tourists who may get drawn in by the patio or the appearance of a nice restaurant by the white table linens. I would never return to this restaurant. The service was absolutely horrendous. We may have seen our waitress only twice during the whole evening. No one stopped by to check if we needed... More

Enjoyed brunch with my husband on their patio - I had breakfast and he had lunch! Found the prices reasonable and the food good. Nice pace and attentive staff - even though we were the only two eating outside. Then you can burn off some calories by walking around downtown Weston!

This place will not disappoint. A beautiful old antebellum home with a very talented chef who has put together a wonderful menu. Fresh seafood daily and perfectly cooked steaks. The house made desserts are to die for and you get hot fresh from the oven french bread for your table. You will love the food and the lovely couple, David... More

If this restaurant were in a larger city, it wouldn't last three months. Mediocre/bad food, bad service and terrible ambience. We have eaten here each time we've come to Weston (at least once a year) and this place has gotten worse with each visit. They have no idea what kind of restaurant they are--white table linens...with ketchup packets for your... More

I was traveling between towns for the first time and decided to follow the signs to historic Weston to find lunch. What an adorable town, but what a surprise Avalon Cafe was. The tomato basil soup and salad were amazing. Great little house, with beautiful touches. Big menu for such a delightful cafe.
