We ate breakfast at this place and weren't disappointed. Food was good. Portions were very generous. Might have a little wait on Saturday but it's worth it. Pancakes are really good!

Wife and I walked to Boardwalk, where she's eaten breakfast many times, for lunch. She had the beef gyro wrap and I had the blue cheese mushroom burger. Both were very good. Side salad was average: dressing was out of a PC package, but fries were very good.

We were visiting St. Louis for our nephew's wedding. We visit all the time and we wanted a good breakfast the morning of the wedding. We goggled the best breakfast in St. Louis and they came back with the Boardwalk café. It was close to the downtown hotel we were staying at and near a shopping area. I had the... More

Best pancakes around but, lunch falls short for the third time. Stick with breakfast if you are going to dine here. Excellent breakfast, average lunch.

This place wins all of the local "best of" awards. I'd been here a few times before, but not in a number of years. The service was reasonably paced and the server was standard. The food arrived as-ordered and was hot. The portions are rather large. The table was not clean in that it had some sticky residue on it... More

I've eaten here several times while attending the St. Louis Cabaret Conference just down the block. They offer very good omlettes, sandwiches, and the like. High-end cuisine it's not and the atmosphere is that of a basic diner, but it's clean, the service is good, and the food is tasty. It has real character and is a nice alternative to... More

The breakfast at Boardwalk was cooked perfectly, over medium eggs, hashbrowns, sausage, gravy and a biscuit.

My wife had this on her todo list. So we went. This place was very reminiscent of an old school diner. The waitress was attentive and never let your coffee cup go too low. I ordered the Boardwalk Skillet (Meat Lover's) it was very delicious it was a plate stacked high full of yummy low cost food. Perfectly seasoned. Definitely... More

Found this place on a Web search for best breakfast spots in St Louis. So glad I did. We stopped in for breakfast around 9 on a Wednesday. The place was just over half full. I ordered a breakfast plate with eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and French toast. Hubby ordered a skillet with biscuit and gravy on the side. We both... More

Okay, this is the "reigning winner of The Riverfront Times' award for best breakfast." That was not the experience I had. I ordered the Denver skillet: and someone in the cook house poured a LOT of salt into my skillet: it was inedible. The pancakes were good, but nothing uncommon. The coffee was hot, and yes, they kept it coming.... More
