The breakfast at Boardwalk was cooked perfectly, over medium eggs, hashbrowns, sausage, gravy and a biscuit.

My wife had this on her todo list. So we went. This place was very reminiscent of an old school diner. The waitress was attentive and never let your coffee cup go too low. I ordered the Boardwalk Skillet (Meat Lover's) it was very delicious it was a plate stacked high full of yummy low cost food. Perfectly seasoned. Definitely... More

Found this place on a Web search for best breakfast spots in St Louis. So glad I did. We stopped in for breakfast around 9 on a Wednesday. The place was just over half full. I ordered a breakfast plate with eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and French toast. Hubby ordered a skillet with biscuit and gravy on the side. We both... More

Okay, this is the "reigning winner of The Riverfront Times' award for best breakfast." That was not the experience I had. I ordered the Denver skillet: and someone in the cook house poured a LOT of salt into my skillet: it was inedible. The pancakes were good, but nothing uncommon. The coffee was hot, and yes, they kept it coming.... More

There were 7 of us Sunday morning. We were heading to a different establishment and were not able to get a table for all if us to sit at. So, I called the Boardwalk and asked if they had room, they said sure come now. We walked up the street and headed in. They had a table waiting for us.... More

It's our go to place for a fast and consistent great breakfast. I always think I'm going to get the pancakes or french toast because that is what they are suppose to be known for and they look amazing! But I always cave and get an omelet because I KNOW that I will be extremely happy, it's the BEST in... More

This place has excellent food and great prices. The pancakes are the size of your plate. I typically get the veggie omelet with bacon added. It is delicious! Feel free to ask about substituting for a up-charge. I get biscuits instead of toast for an extra 50 cents. If you go on a weekend, it gets crowded, but the weekdays... More

My husband and I LOVE going there for breakfast on a weekend morning. We've both had to wait a while for a table, and got seated immediately. They are usually packed on Sunday mornings. it is rather tightly cramped inside but I think that is part of it's charm. I see the same wait staff there and as far as... More

I ordered a skillet with my eggs over easy. The were not over easy, they were cooked hard. But even worse than that was, not once did our server ask how everything was, or if we needed anything. And even when we got the bill, she didn't say one word to us. She did not care if we enjoyed our... More

My husband and I really like going to breakfast at Boardwalk on the weekends. It's easy to get a table, the staff is nice and the food arrives pretty quick. I really like the omelettes. The hashbrowns are blah. Wish they weren't mashed...probably from a can. They have a great selection for hot tea.
