Having grown up in Texas, my expectations for Mexican food are high, and in my 15+ years in St. Louis I've been often disappointed by the options available. However, last week I had a truly lovely surprise with dinner at Milagro. The menu options were creative, but a nice blend of traditional / expected and interesting twists on Mexican classics... More

We have eaten there several times while visiting family in the area. This time we were hesitant because we had young children with us. They were able to accommodated us easily and put us at a large table on the corner out of the way :-). Waiter was great. Helpful and on the ball with young and old alike. Food... More

I cannot recall what I've ordered here but I have always been delighted with the service and the food. I have been here with groups from work as well as small family gatherings. I have also had lunch with a friend here multiple times.

We went here based on other reviews. Margararitta was tiny and just ok. Food was ok. Not good value compared to our favorite Mexican place at home.

We went here for my birthday dinner after many friends went on and on about how much they loved this place. They were right! The food and service here is excellent! We had the beef barbacoca sops, steak tampico, and street corn. The spicy margarita is also delicious. Everything was really good, and we wanted to try more.

We had dinner here while traveling in st. Louis area. Service was fast and friendly. Food was very good, I had the fish tacos and thought they were delicious. Its definitely not your average ordinary Mexican food restaurant. Things were fresh, made to order, good quality, portions were good but not huge (which is fine with me). I would happily... More

We were looking forward to the Chilitos Rellenos featured in Sauce magazine. As mentioned by a previous reviewer, they were not particularly spicy and only warm serving temp. I did enjoy their Top Shelf Margarita but my Huevos Veracruz was pretty bland. My son enjoyed his steak burrito.

If 'modern' means the same old food but pretty and small - OK. Very pricey for what you get which is small portions of lightly flavored mexican and a waiter that acted like he was playing the part of a waiter in a play. Yes, atmosphere is a notch higher than some of my favorite Mexican places, but does not... More

Great selection of Mexican, Mexican food, not American-Mexican. Casual dress, good for families with kids too in the early evening. Couples will enjoy this place too.
