I went with a party of 16. The service was slow, even taking into account the size of our party at dinnertime, but the staff was friendly. I had the cheese enchilda with verde sauce and an asada taco. Both were very good. The chips and salsa were also delicious, as were the margaritas.

I was really hoping that this restaurant would be a lot more authentic in its offerings. I admit to being spoiled by terrific Mexican food from along US-99 in California. I guess the separation has lead to a regionalized variant of Mexican food that does not really appeal to me.

I came here with some friends and I was really impressed. The chips and salsa is really good and I just kept on eating them so much I was almost full by the time my meal came out. My food not only looked good, it taste as good as it smelled. The price was good as well and I have... More

Without a doubt Prima's is the Mexican food in the Springfield area. There is also one in Ozark that I like better. Good food, good atmosphere and good service.

I always like the idea of Mexican food. When I crave it, I imagine it's going to be wonderful. But, when I get it, it's like...I could've made this at home! This place was no exception, really. Talking about the food, it was a mass of lettuce and tomatoes and cheese (but who minds lots of cheese). I got a... More

We went in around 5:30 on a Saturday night and were seated immediately. Our server, Brittany, was fantastic. No kidding, we had her running and she was efficient and ever-pleasant and attentive. Could not have asked for a better server. We like dips and sauces and found ourselves in paradise. Their regular salsa is a mild tomato sauce-type that I... More

We were traveling with friends and it is always hard to decide where to eat. We had seen Prima's coming back from eating somewhere else so decided to try it. My enchilada was the best one I have ever had. The margaritas were very good also. Our server went out of his way to make our evening enjoyable.

Being in the area for a class I walked to Prima's during my lunch break. This is not my first visit here and will not be my last. "Real" Mexican food is such an over used term. Growing up in San Diego; being married to a Texan and having traveled extensively through Mexico I will say that no two regions... More

We would visit Primas more often, but we don't because they are so slow!!! I ordered all you can eat enchiladas and the waiter never came back to bring me more. When he brought the bill, I mentioned it to him. Almost ever visit, I have asked for a knife, and my food is pretty much cold by the to... More
