My first impression is that the place needs a remodel. It doesn't seem very clean, especially the flooring. That aside, the food was just food. We went for the all-you-can-eat crab legs; unfortunately, they were overcooked and bland. For the price, I would not go back or recommend this restaurant. At least not for the crab legs.

Okay, first it's in Bass Pro, so expectations were not too high. But then again, it is in THE Bass Pro. We stopped for breakfast and truly enjoyed the buffet - lots of variety to choose from and nothing ever "ran out." We're seated overlooking the store so an added bonus was watching families pose with the stuffed bear!

Good food, good service but not the cleanest. I have lived in Springfield 22 years and they remodeled "1" time... bathrooms are not the cleanest either. Only go there for breakfast, dinner is pretty pricey... I need clean..

They're not living up to the Bass Pro "image" and I'm just concerned about the people who think that this is great food. I have never had their breakfast or brunch and can imagine that would be very good, as who can mess up bacon, sausage, and eggs? However, their lunch that I went to was so disappointing, I would... Steak was severely overcooked and dry with no flavoring, roast beef was good, wait time after ordering food was ridiculous.... Only thing that helped pass the time was the great atmosphere!

the whole front of the bar and inside the Bass Pro which even if you are not into the great outdoors is a really cool place.

So we ended our annual weekend trip by stopping at Bass Pro is Springfield and eating here (like we do every year). OMG It was HORRIBLE! I have always enjoyed the buffet here but we will NEVER go back again. The food was NASTY! Our service was horrible. the servers stood around and talked about stupid stuff and IGNORED their... More

One of the best places for breakfast. And a pretty good deal too. Located on the top floor of Bass Pro, it doesn't sound too glamorous, but it is actually one of the fancier Springfield restaurants. Buffet style. Family friendly.

We went to Hemingway's on a Friday night (my birthday) as a special treat, and were expecting the seafood buffet of a few years ago. There was no seafood buffet. We did eat the buffet with friend clam strips and popcorn shrimp, and it was about the same as eating at Ryan's or Golden Corral but with fewer choices. It... More

We've eaten here 2 or 3 times a year for 19 years, the food and service have slipped dramatically in the last year. Tried the buffet this trip, most selections were very average except for the carved beef. It was done right and tasty but so much sinew in the meat it could barely be cut into pieces small enough...
