My siblings and I were visiting my Mom and Dad for Mother's Day in Springfield, MO. We were going to eat at the Bistro which is another good place to eat in Springfield but they had closed at 1:30 pm on a Saturday (still can't figure that one out!). Anyway, there we were wondering where to go for lunch. We... More

Had a business lunch meeting on a Tuesday. Restaurant started out quiet but as the crowd filed in it became a bit noisy, harder to have a conversation. The waiter was very adept and not interrupting our conversation. We started with the must have Past Chips and Red Sauce (not to be missed). One client ordered the pasta with meat... More

We did not sample a wide range of the restaurant's offerings, but their pizzas were pretty good. Crust could have been crisper, but they had a great selection of toppings. Wines were not too badly over-priced. I would go there again. Spent about $130, including tip, for dinner for four with one $29 bottle of red wine..

We had the lobster ravioli- which my husband loved- and the spinach gnocchi- which was unique and delish! The house dressing was wonderful as was the homemade bread. My favorite part of the meal was the dessert- cannolis! Yum!!

I was in town on business and we came here one evening. Now, I don't eat a lot of Italian cuisine, but I had the Il Calzone Etna and it was one of the best meals I have had when compared to other types of food. I also had a slice of Key Lime pie which was also among the... More

We had a large group here the other night and used the upstairs. Rachel the waitress was awesome. We should have either had a smaller listing of choices rather than eating off the menu or doing something different as the food was good but cold as it took them a long while to serve all 20. This was only complaint... More

We have been coming to Bruno's for more than six years and always enjoyed it but this last visit was extremely disappointing. When we arrived, there was only one other couple dining and by the time we left, only one other couple had come so it wasn't a busy night. We were seated by a server and before we even... More

Tonight I was at loose ends with everyone else in my family engaged in activities. So I treated myself to dinner out. I decided to go to Bruno's because I've always wanted to try it. I was greeted and seated immediately and pleasantly. I wish I remembered my waiter's name, he was truly excellent - attentive without being overbearing and... More

My husband and I really wanted to try a new Italian place and decided on Bruno's due to reading local reviews. We arrived on a Saturday early evening (5:30) with few people in the dinning area. We were asked if we had a reservation (which we did not) but then was seated in the front. The server asked what we... More

It had been some time since my last meal here (seven years) so I was not sure what to expect. My husband and I were very pleased with our meal and the service was excellent! The fettuccini with chicken and sun dried tomatoes was one of the best versions of fettuccini we have ever had. The pizza crust like bread... More
