By far the best sushi in Springfield!!! Great variety and nice atmosphere. You won't be disappointed!!!
Hands down, best sushi in Springfield. Kai, their other sushi restaurant, is actually my favorite but these people know how to run a business and serve the best sushi. It's a little slow as far as service goes but that could be because they are always busy. Great date night too!
I called on Tuesday for dinner reservations for Friday 7pm. Reservation was accepted with the following request: A table for 4 ADULTS in a QUIET area. Also shared with the man I was speaking to while making this reservations.....that of all the restaurants available in Springfield we choose Haruno. My husband and I arrived 10 early so we could once... More
The sushi is great but on this trip the hostess provided us the happy hour specials and the waitress pointed out the martini specials but when we got the check the prices were normal. We asked the waitress who said oops those do not apply on Sunday. We heard another table asking the same question.
Just had another great dinner at Haruno. The sushi is to die for, they have a lot to choose from. Try their happy hour specials before 6:30 most nights. You can pick three of their top sushi choices for $10. I had their Sea Bass entree this time and it was very impressive. My wife had the filet mignon. Everyone... More
I lived in Springfield several years ago and Haruno was always one of my favorite restaurants in the whole city. I have had sushi in many cities and I have never found a better sushi restaurant than Haruno. Any time I'm in town I always try to eat here. We went today and I had my all time favorite The... More
Have always gone at lunch, with my family... Everytime has been consistant, so thats a good thing... The service is okay, the decor is a bit gaudy, but the food is awesome... Just be aware if your there to eat, and you have hungry kids, that every time we have gone it has taken IMO way too long for the... More
I went for lunch yesterday and had teriyaki chicken with Japanese vegetables and steamed rice. I was surprised when my plate came out. It had chicken (which was good) but the vegetables were limp French fries, shredded lettuce (plain), approximately 2 tablespoons of red bell pepper and pickles. I am attaching a photo to show it. Their sushi seemed good... More
I honestly can't understand why everyone in Springfield goes on and on about this place. The service is mediocre, and the rolls are below par. There are WAY better sushi places in town. After a roll or two, you are still hungry, and you leave feeling like you sold a body part and you are still hungry. The only rolls... More
One of my "regular" place to grab a couple of rolls after a tough day at work. I love the fact that they're open pretty late (with me working a night shift) Their service has yet to disappoint and they always have my rolls ready from when I call from my work to me picking it up (about a 10... More
