My experience here was not like any other place. The workers were friendly and welcoming. The food was good. Majority of deserts. The restaurant was uniquely designed. Ill reccomend this to anyone

I just love the Aviary. First, the atmosphere is probably one of the best in Springfield. Second, their food is pretty great. Not always the most "traditional" french food you've ever had, but it is tasty. Their pomme frites are to DIE for. Don't go without ordering them.

...but I don't. The food is passable but the service horrible. I visited on a Saturday morning at the new Aviary near the farmers market. I expected a lengthy wait for a table but was disappointed to get a seat next to the bathrooms and kitchen. The chairs are metal and extremely uncomfortable. The service was so slow it took... More

Traveling through Missouri do not miss lunch or Sunday brunch here. Great atmosphere but even better creative delicious crepes and other stuff but we had the crepes for Sunday brunch. Almost worth a trip here (and we're from Pennsylvania). I'm sure it's a local favorite but it's great if your passing through and want a great meal.

A very popular place, and I see why. Everything is fresh. The coffee is great and food is in full portions, so don't let the prices intimidate you. Worth every cent. Looking around you see hidden treasures everywhere. It is light, bright and eclectic. You may find little pockets where you're sitting, where people have written on scrap paper their... More

I like going here but my husband does not at all. The decor is cute but crowded. Today the food was good but our service was bad. We have on three different times had slow service. We were here for brunch and twice our coffee cups were empty. It is the only place for Crepes in Springfield but not sure... More

Brunch here is really lovely and differs from the usual pancake breakfast. Love the choices and the drink selection. The evening scene is also fun and the meal is reasonably priced.

My sister and I had lunch on a Sunday afternoon at the Aviary Cafe and Creperie. We ate outside and enjoyed our time there. It was very crowded so obviously it wasn't an original idea. In case you are interested in having an alcoholic beverage be sure to eat outside as they do not have the additional permit to sell... More

The Aviary's crepes are better than any I've had in Belgium or on high-end cruise ships or in high-end restaurants. They far surpass those made at the nationally famous La Crepe place in Austin TX (my home town). I think Aviary's recipe is astounding. I wouldn't be surprised if this place ends up on a Food channel show.
