My family and I absolutely LOVE going to Andy's. Every time we pass through Springfield we stop in for a strawberry banana concrete. They are perfect.
2nd time at Andy's and the custard is delicious but it is pricey but most custard places are. If you have never had it you need to try at least once.
Andy's Frozen Custard is so good they don't call it ice cream. The stuff is really addictive, when I first started going there I noticed the shop every time I drove by and regretted not being able to stop. Really good feature sundaes include the Ozark Turtle and the Strawanna. Made to order concretes (custard mixed with add-in's) are great... More
Better than ice cream - rich yummy frozen custard. They have area favorites, or you can make whatever you like. Fruit, chocolate, cheesecake and my favorite season coming up... Pumpkin pie - a slice of pie blended in some vanilla. Yummmm!
I think I am over custard. This was just average, as said above, but usually something redeems the visit. Not so much. I like the Dairy Queen up Campbell better. At least they hire nice people.
On my recent trip to Springfield, I used trip adviser to select my evening meal. The although I did not select the number one ranking for dinner I definitely went for desert. I was impressed. The frozen custard is served many tempting ways. I selected the turtle sundae. Two scoops of vanilla frozen custard, hot fudge, thick caramel, and toasted... More

My favorite is the peanut butter cup with brownie coming in a close second. Best of all, the small concrete is big enough for anyone! No need to buy a larger size unless you... More
I hadn't been to Andy's since I moved to Mountain View, Mo. Two weekends ago I was helping a friend help his sister do yard work. For a treat he took me to Andy's. I've always gotten the Ozark Turtle Sundae which is their big seller. But this time I tried the Stolen Brownie Sundae. I must say Ozark Turtle... More
I was in Joplin for 6 days and had a custard almost every day - tried another custard restaurant and had to go back to Andy's!!
