My husband and I have three standards a restaurant must live up to for us to go back. It has to be baby friendly, good service, and of course good food. They had plenty of room for our car seat. They were friendly and kept our drinks filled. And the food was very simple, but good, especially the biscuit and... More

When I rolled into the Oasis Convention Center for the Missouri State HOG Rally in Springfield, MO, I asked the ladies at the Springfield Missouri Convention & Visitors table where I could find the best pork tenderloin sandwich in Springfield, and they replied, "Cedars". The local HOG riders concurred and gave me simple directions how to find it. The Cedars... More

But still saw to it that we got everything we needed, coffee stayed full, etc. Good pricing, more food than I could eat. Took care of me on a special order. We'll be back.

Great food. Great service. Great prices. I love these old time diner places. We had the chicken fried steak, chicken fried chicken, and one of the tenderloin sandwiches. You will love everything here and will not believe how inexpensive everything is. Bring an appetite when you stop by. I will be back many times.

We ordered daily specials off of a menu board - and we were not disappointed. Full plates of home cooked food - seasoned well - and attentive wait staff who kept our iced tea and coffee full. Prices were very reasonable - especially for the amount and quality of food we received.

While in Springfield for a wedding we decided to try this restaurant out for a late lunch or early dinner, Upon entering the building we waited for someone to seat us. Finally one of the wait staff said to seat wherever we wanted Looked around for such a sign but couldn't find one, That would have been helpful, Decided to... More

It is in a difficult- to- find location, however, it was worth finding. The atmosphere was that of an old-time diner. The service was friendly and welcoming. I can say that the food was just like my mom's cooking. Very Good ! Three of us ate for around $20. We will eat here again!

It looks dinky and old, but the breakfast at Cedars is the best I've ever had, and you feel like you're at an old fashioned country diner. The service is good too. The waitresses are always so nice. Favorite thing on the menu: Hashbrowns
