Great Food. Great Service. Your Neighborhood. Bambinos Cafe is proud of our reputation as one the best restaurants in town. There's a lot of great restaurants in Springfield MO and so we were honored to be selected by as The Best Italian Food, Best Place For Date-Night Dinner and Best Restaurant by the Missouri State University newspaper The Standard.

It can be a bit of a challenge finding our local restaurant tucked back in the Phelps Grove neighborhood, but we hope that our food is worth the journey. 417 Magazine rated us Best Hidden Restaurant and said "You have to wind back into a residential area to find this slightly off-the-radar restaurant but it'll be a treat when you do. The patio is large and covered, the atmosphere is laid-back and the prices are super-reasonable."

Amazing food. Great ambience. Awesome prices!

We went there to celebrate our daughter's theater success and seeing her first time in last three months. She was there before with her friends and said that locals highly recommended it. I've been to this place 3 or 4 dozen times over the past 10 years. It's a good, friendly neighborhood restaurant. Pasta is their specialty, and it's (almost) always spot-on. Friendly college-age staff and a consistent menu. My choice is the Mia - wide noodles with chicken, peas and mushrooms. And they use provel cheese - rarely can you find... More

Bambinos can be a little tricky to find, but well worth it. Their food is always fresh and delicious. The have a great menu including gluten free pasta options. The lunch special is a great deal and you definitely won't leave hungry.

Hidden away on a side street is this small, but friendly restaurant. We went for the first time on a Saturday and it was busy, but still didn't have to wait long. Food was great , portions large and prices good. Try the Zita, it has chunks of fork tender roast beef in this traditional dish for a delicious twist.

This is a nice friendly restaurant, probably staffed and run by owners, that's usually a good thing. I've been twice. Both times there were hits and misses. Both times the biggest drawback is waiting for a table smack dab in the middle of the dining room full of people dining :( owners please please cordon off a front corner of... More

While on vacation from Kentucky we stopped in to this hidden little treasure to reminisce a place that my Bride went to years ago... As always she was right! The food was amazing! Great family service! This place is a must!

Stopped here on a cold rainy night when we couldn't get in elsewhere. It was busy but not full. The food was excellent, with big portions. You can get a lunch-size order of pasta, which I love because then I can have a salad also. Setting is very casual, not exactly cozy family Italian, but it was still comfortable. I... More

Tucked into a neighborhood just south of Missouri State University, Bambino's occupies the building MSU alums may remember as McSalty's Pizza. It's sad that McSalty's is gone (from that location, anyway), but Bambino's is a worthy replacement. Wonderful food at excellent prices in an extremely pleasant atmosphere makes Bambino's a worthy choice for any meal. Their lunch specials are especially... More

It doesn't look like much on the outside, tucked into a residential neighborhood, but the food is superb. I had the ziti, which was loaded with cheese, and roast beef. Interesting twist but it worked. My wife had the mushroom stuffed ravioli in marsala sauce and she really enjoyed it. Good fresh bread with refills, and reasonable prices. I would... More

I've been enjoying the lunch menu at Bambino's for the past 20 years. It's a maintain among Springfield's locally-owned and local-only restaurants. On the lunch menu you'll find wraps, great salads, Italian and Greek appetizers, focaccia bread sandwiches, pastas, pizzas and incredibly delicious New England Clam Chowder on Fridays (only) and more. All dishes are freshly prepared and, as you... More
