Description: Great Food. Great Service. Your Neighborhood. Bambinos Cafe is proud of our reputation as one the best restaurants in town. There's a lot of great restaurants in Springfield MO and so we were honored to be selected by as The Best Italian Food, Best Place For Date-Night Dinner and Best Restaurant by the Missouri State University newspaper The Standard. It can be a bit of a challenge finding our local restaurant tucked back in the Phelps Grove neighborhood, but we hope that our food is worth the journey. 417 Magazine rated us Best Hidden Restaurant and said "You have to wind back into a residential area to find this slightly off-the-radar restaurant but it'll be a treat when you do. The patio is large and covered, the atmosphere is laid-back and the prices are super-reasonable."

Our son, who lives in Springfield, had recommended we come here. There's a huge crowd but well worth the wait. It's in an area that is more residential so parking can be a challenge. It's a very busy place but the food and drinks were excellent. We all highly recommend this cafe and will definitely be back. Can't say enough... More

I simply adore Bambino's. The restaurant itself has a laidback eclectic vibe and houses locally made art on the walls. Bambnos' pastas and paninis are amazing. The wait staff is very accommodating to special requests. And I love the fact that they serve locally made beer & wine. I've never had a bad or even a mediocre meal there. The... More

I will start that I always judge an Italian restaurant by their bread. I like a little garlic and seasoning on or with my bread. If that's what you like, then you won't like the bread. They did offer oil & vinegar along with butter but I found it a little blah since the bread was cold. I ordered the... More

Bambino's is what an Italian restaurant should be in Branson... but, it is in Springfield. There has to be a way. It is no more, nor any less than what it should be. We need B-II in Branson, we do not need a chicfilla, b-wild-wings, or another poor service mexitalian garlic factory, we need the B's. If you lucky buggers... More

My wife and I have been going to Bambino's for years, but many people in Springfield still don't know where it is. Tucked away in a neighborhood near MSU campus, it's the best kept secret in Springfield. Great atmosphere, food and service. I highly recommend it!

Obviously Bambino's is attempting to cut back as the last FOUR times I've been there the portions were MUCH smaller and with very little meat. I've been going for years and order the baked zitti almost every time. Service has also been lackluster lately. We also asked for them to toast our bread and were informed we'd be charged to... You have to try their meatballs. As part of the dinner or as a side. This is a small, very cool place with great food, a staff that treats you like family, and serves up some wonderful food. If you like casual eating in a casual environment this is the place. I always do lunch there when I'm in Springfield.

We recently went to Bambinio's for the first time and loved it. It's a cozy little restaurant in what appears to be a converted house. Located in a residential area and walking distance from the MSU campus, the restaurant was busy the Saturday night we were there. The food was excellent! We had the spaghetti and meatballs, fettuccini and one... More

I can't say enough good things about Bambino's! We;ve never had a bad meal or bad service there. The Italian dishes always taste SO fresh! The Maria is my favorite- simple, but delicious. Also love their bread service- they serve it with a plate of cut up garlic- which is divine!

Glad to see this addition to the SE side of Springfield. Their pannini's are delicious: turkey & swiss or bambino special. I love their healthy side choices: salad made with fresh greens, fruit or vegie sticks. Hope they add some of their yummy pasta dishes!
